What a Relief!!!!! I am happy that this storm did not wreck anyones wedding. I can say however, it is making me a little more nervous about having booked my wedding during hurricane season. I was told that hurricanes rarely made landfall in cabo but seeing this one come so close is a little scary!

Finally got our date set we will be getting married august 14th 2010:)

Hey everyone! Just intrested in ways to save/keep the cost down on the oot bags. I just got to thinkin and 50 bags at even ten dollars each to fill them is goin to be way over 500 dollars. I really like the idea of oot bags what are some bargains everyone has found. I read the thread on the target bags that seems like a steal but what about the contents

i just attended another family members wedding at riu santa fe recently we ate at the steakhouse terrace and had rolls, ceaser salad and chicken, the rolls and salad are very good but the chicken was very dry and not much flavor i would however recomend the steak we ate there another night and ordered the steak and it was one of the best steaks ive ever eaten. hope this helps

Hey ladies does anyone know if that pricing is for 2010 packages as well. i looked on the riu website and it looks like there is no photographer included in the 2010 packages. Pictures are very important to me and im getting a little nervous that they may not have a photographer for 2010. It isn't helping that now i hear no outside photographers are aloud in the resort Just looking for peace of mind.

HI ladies, just wanted to give you a little info from the wedding i attended at santa fe the bride and groom also rented the disco from 8-11 we only had to kick out a few straggelers we just explained that it was a private party untill 11 at eleven most people at the resort are in bed already or out in the town we stayed a little while after eleven but only a small amount of people entered after that. keep in mind that this was durring the offseason, but there were still ALOT of people staying at the resort. WHen youre awake drinking at 8 in the morning all day in the sun you usually dont make it to late lol....unless of course you are attending a wedding lol

Ive been very concerned lately about the rain in cabo. Ive heard before that it hardly ever rains there and after picking my date ive been getting anxiety searching different websites about the weather in cabo. It looks like september (the month i will be married) is considered one of the rain months along with august. Can anyone help and give me your opinion/experience with rain in cabo? is this something i should be worried about or is there just occasional showers? See here i go ranting on and getting nervous again:)

Thanks girls for your ideas ill probably send them out soon so everyone can save up. I wish the 2010 prices were available for my resort so people have an idea of what they need to save.....hopefully they will be available around the time I send them out. how about the invitations will you send them out far in advance also? Just pickin everyones brain lol im new at this lol!

Hi everyone i am an august 2010 bride to be. I wanted to know when he best time to send out std's is for a wedding that is 14 months away. I was thinking 12 months but I've read that some brides have sent theirs out prior to that. What does everyone think?

I also noticed that in the 2010 packages there can only be 60 guests or less as opposed to an undetermined amount does anyone know how much extra guest would cost with these new packages?

WOW! please post when you get a reply about this. THat would just not even be right if they don't include a photographer and you cant bring one in either! that sounds crazy. and i dont understand why the price only dropped 100 dollars from last year after losing the photographer thats quite a cheap photo package i wonder if it was even good to begin with.

when i attended a wedding there in the fall the ceremony was a 6 on the beach dinner was at 7 at the steakhouse and we were to the disco by 8 thirty we had time to sit and have a glass of wine with appetizers before our salads came then shortly after salads was main course and they cut there cake right after. the speaches were done on the beach after the ceremony i hope this helps

Hi everyone! Im a Santa Fe Bride too september of 2010 so quite a while after everyone else. I attended another wedding at Riu Santa Fe in september of 2008 and it was beautiful. The wedding was at 6 on the beach and there were people watching from behind ( in the pool bar) but it wasnt as bad as people say. you couldnt notice them during the ceremony they were considerate and after they all helped cheer and clap. THe dinner was at the steak house on the terrace and it was beautiful also. DInner was just as the sun was setting and it was very private. the food was incredable! we had ate at the steakhouse a few nights prior and had steak. At the wedding dinner we had chicken and it was delicious as well. We then went to the disco they rented it out for dancing. It looked like an 80s strip club inside (mirrors cherries and dark) but it was so much fun and very private as well. i suggest bringing your own ipod becasue the dj they had didnt speak english very well and it was hard to communicate http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...jacked.gifwhat songs we wanted to hear. all in all we had a great time and i am enjoying planning our wedding for 2010

Hi everyone! im having trouble finding the right bridesmaid dresses. Davids bridal doesnt have the color i want and I'm not really aware of any other bridal shops in my area.
