I've been in 2 weddings where we used House of Brides for the bridesmaid dresses. One of the brides got her gown there too. We all lived in Chicago, which is where they're based, so it made trying on dresses easy but I also know several girls who lived out of town & just ordered by their measurements & the dresses looked great.

Yep, I agree w/ all of you girls. Danielle is a class A freak, Caroline's funny - very mama bear meets mafia, & Jacqueline is probably the most "normal". Theresa's house is ridiculous! It's like Liberace's dream home. And her husband? "fuhgettaboutit"?!? Seriously, who talks like that?

I haven't found the one yet but I'm guessing I'll go back pretty soon for round 2. Thanks, girls, for the other suggestions! I'm pretty new to NY so it's nice to know about the other stores you've had luck at.

That WTOO dress is gorgeous!! Have you tried House of Brides on Franklin? Maybe they could get it for you. Or hopefully Macy's will have it at the trunk show! Saw that the crosstown classic was rained out tonight! boo. I miss Chicago!
