Congratulations!! Do you know where on St John you'll be having the wedding? I went to a wedding at Caneel Bay a few years ago and it was so beautiful! I stayed at the Westin which was also a great hotel. Such a beautiful place! Good luck planning!

  13. I think your idea about bringing a 2nd dress is a good one - maybe just a sundress. Even if you don't end up wearing it that night you could another night. It sounds like it'll give you peace of mind to have the option to change.
  14. I love those! So pretty! And how exciting to be getting all your stuff!
  15. LOVE IT!!!!! That dress is perfect. And Foxy - good job w/ the shoes! I love the ones on ebay w/ the red bow & the guess ones. super cute!
  16. That is such great news especially, like you said, for families traveling! I'd be celebrating too!
  17. Great thread! I love reading everyone's top 5! I know some of mine are more like 2-in-one but I couldn't cut them out 1. Beach ceremony (but hopefully no random guy in a speedo in the background) 2. All inclusive w/ good food 3. Family friendly 4. 4 star +, but not too expensive 5. Reviews from Trip Advisor since we can't make a site visit
  18. Congratulations! I'm surprised there aren't reviews/threads somewhere on the forum about the Palace resorts. Have you tried looking on Trip Advisor for reviews? Good luck planning! Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor

  20. Yeah, Josie, you're right. The laws in IL are different (just moved from Chicago last year). If you're going less than 20mph over the speed limit you either have to pay $75 cash bail or hand over your license (or bond card) til your ticket's paid. And the $ goes up from there if you're going faster. Here's a link to the IL state police site. Speed Limit Enforcement
  21. Congratulations! You will definitely find great ideas & helpful planning info on this site!!
