    We're having a similar issue - one of my brother's is in the wedding party & I'm going to ask the other one to do a reading. Or if you don't want that, maybe he could be in charge of tipping people that day or make sure people are running on time or the music is right - like an event coordinator of sorts.

    here's our inspiration board: The bridesmaids are wearing this dress; one in clover, one in pool blue & one in pale yellow (can't find a pic). I really wanted an orange or coral color but the girls loved this dress on & the intensity of the orange chiffon didn't look good so the 3rd BM opted for yellow. So, we'll use the coral/orange in the flowers. clover pool

    How did I miss this thread? I'm a May '10 bride too! We sent out the STD's last week & have gotten a great response so far. yay for DIYing! I just picked up my dress today, hooray!! Only ordered it a couple weeks ago & it wasn't supposed to come in until Oct but I got the call last night. nice! And went to Target this afternoon & got mini first aid kits for $0.97 each plus mini sunscreens for $.99. Overall it was a very productive day. Next up, the photog...

    Jill, those are all gorgeous!! I have some earrings just like that and I love them; I'm always checking to make sure they're still in my ears. About how big is the flower? I'm still looking for one that's not too big.

    Love it!! Lisa you look beautiful. You're right about the ribbon effect & the extra material - turning up the ribbon shortens the bust height & gives a much better shape and there's way too much material going on. When you hold the back (like in the 2nd pic of you wearing it) it looks a lot better, but I'm sure she'll fix that in December. I'm still so impressed your aunt made that - it's lovely!
