  1. For me its gotta be barefoot in the sand, I've got the rest of my life to dance on a floor!
  2. Savannah, any update on the advanced dvd yet? My Fi mentioned this to me literally 2 hours ago (we are way behind you guys over here!) He had seen it whilst flicking through the cable channels and thinks it looks like my "thing". From the feedback on here it seems that those that most girls that do a class really love it, I'd like to hear your feedback from your latest attempt.
  3. Good Job catching the parrot in shot! LOL Thought you would have learned by now never work with children, animals or stressed out BDW brides!! LOL Superb work as usual, cant wait for the rest. Jaime you must be thrilled...

For upcoming brides heading to Tulum, would you be kind enough to find out if this is true and maybe bring back a list of tours they offer Also, someone asked about the price of the taxi to the ruins. If I remember correctly, it was about $7 when I went about 4 years ago, so if the prices have gone up, I don't think it should be more than $10 now. Spoke to Baltobabe on the Dreams forum yesterday and she confirmed that they no longer offer bike tours to the ruins. Apparently they have extended the highway and due to health and safety it is now considered unsafe for bike tours. I thought I read ages ago that its poss to walk along the beach so any info on if this is still poss would be appreciated.

I just updated my wedding website today with all of the prices and packages. If any one is getting married at Dreams Tulum or Riviera Cancun let me know and i will send you the prices I got. OOooh me me me, Im a 2010 Dreams Tulum bride, booked in 2008 and in typical "Dreams" style I still dont have 2010 prices! Can I please have a copy of yours? Who did you speak to and how did you get them, most of the posts i've read the girls are in the same limbo as me with ZERO info coming their way. Your help would be awesome.

  9. Starlitk.. Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit worked up, I totally agree about all the stress caused by inconsistencies and lack of communication. Im prob going to be exactly the same when my time comes .........However, please be re-assurred by all the honest, wonderful reviews on this forum, very rare do we see a bad one. For peace of mind be as organised as you can be and thats the most you can do, the rest is mind over matter. Most important of all ENJOY IT. Even if the worst happens (and it wont) the wedding is only a few hours out of the rest of your life with the man you love. Have a wonderful day.

We still do our own thing (within reason!) and chances are that most shots on the list we would do anyway but its nice to have an idea of whats really important to the couple. Its especially handy to include names/relationships particularly if members of the family are divorced/estranged or you have extended groups of people that you would really like to include. Dont go crazy with the groups, the focus of the day should really be about you, FI and your nearest and dearest. Theres nothing worse for a photog to be invited to a stunning location and get no time with the couple cos theres so many groups to get through. Your time will fly, group shots always take much longer to co-ordinate than you think and very few usually end up in the final album. Any decent photog should not be offended by having a list provided for them, dont forget at the end of the day YOU are employing THEM to give you what you want. Good Luck.
