Well as you can see my wedding isn't for awhile so I'm going the slow route and getting the free pen with every order I put in. I think someone else suggested you sign up for their emails and I recommend that as well. I've been doing a lot of printing through them and its all for free other than shipping. Sorry I don't have any insider tips other than to sign up for the emails and just place small orders and get a pen with every order(I'm doing the same thing for hats). Sometimes after you place your order they will give you additional deals with the shipping included and I got an extra pen for only a few dollars. Hope that helps you even a little bit.

I also got mailing labels for future FREE so the shipping was less than $12! SWEET!!! That's awesome! I'm sure you'll find other things that you'll want to get printed if you keep looking. I went on there only getting the return address labels and then I just kept finding new things that I thought would work. My first order I got the 25 free magnets that I put their stock palm tree picture on that say "thank you for sharing our day in paradise". After that I got hooked and haven't looked back since...LOL Oh and I had a good shopping day at Dollarama. Found some tote bags that are bigger than any I've seen (maybe 24"x15")and only paid $1 for each. They aren't the best quality, a little thin, but for a buck I didn't expect the best anyway. After talking to my mom we decided that most will only use the bag during the vacation so I wasn't going to spend big bucks on something that was just going into a closet when they got home. They had yellow, green, red, navy blue and black at my store in case you wanted to know. I'm just glad I can cross those off my list

Great fan find at Michaels

Embroidered caps... need advice
punkie569 replied to kelleylove's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I've also been ordering my hats from Vistaprint. So far I've only gotten mine and I did the crown with "The Bride" on it. Looks good though. I have a few on order now but it is a slow process to go the free route. So if you only need a small amount it's a good way to go and it's easy on the budget. But if it's in your budget or if its something that is really important to you then go with the embroidered caps. It's always worth the money if it's something that you really want and you can always cut back on other things if necessary. Good luck! -
Do you stalk your registries?
punkie569 replied to Alyssa's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Oh how exciting!!! I haven't registered yet but when I do it's gonna be hard to try to stop me from looking. I hate surprises! (yes I was that kid that always snooped for Christmas presents...LOL) -

I'm addicted to Vistaprint and it's not good that I still have so much more time to go before our wedding. I just order things and figure if I don't like it I can just reorder something different. Happy hunting! Thanks for that site. They have some really good stuff there. I don't know about you but I'm not having a whole lot of people coming so I don't need such huge quantities either. Also with our dollar going down buying online just doesn't seem to be the bargain it used to be. Let's try to keep each other updated if we find some good bags for a decent price.

Everyone talks about Vistaprint and how awesome it is so I think its time I checked it out! I haven't found the actual tote bags yet either! I'm leaning towards not spending so much on the bag now since I'm going all out on the beach towels (7.50 USD/towel plus embroidery/shipping!)...I'm thinking I'll go with something basic like the recycle bags you can get anywhere... You HAVE to check out Vistaprint. Sign up for their emails and you will get a new email every few days with tons of free stuff. All I've had to pay for is shipping which is nothing. My last order was worth over $70 and I paid $10 in shipping. You'll find some really good things to use for your OOT bags. If you need any ideas I can try to help you and let you know what I've done with them. As for the bags I wish I could find something like those shopping bags from Superstore. They are perfect size, black and only .99cts. If only they didn't have a huge logo on them! I love that you are doing the towels and at that price I totally get wanting a cheaper bag. Priorities, right?

I've been doing a few Michaels trips and during my last one I found sandalwood fans that they didn't have there before. So a box of 18 is selling for $29.99 and if you use your 40% off coupon you are looking at around a dollar apiece and they come in individual boxes. I don't know about you but I haven't been able to find them online or in stores for that low of a price. They also had plain white fans for the same price. Just thought I'd share my find cuz I was so excited when I found them

So far I've gotten all my printed stuff (magnets, cards, pens etc) from Vistaprint so they've been free. Otherwise just hitting up every and any dollar store I can find. I'm planning on hitting that one in Richmond that was mentioned cuz it's HUGE. I don't know why our Michaels doesn't have a dollar section but I have still found some good things there. I bought decks of cards that are in a plastic holder for $1.50. I'm still trying to find bags though that aren't really pricey.

I'm going to look at the other website right now. Do you mind telling me what bags you got, how much they were and if you liked them? I swear this bag thing is causing me so much grief when this should be a really easy thing...haha -

I've emailed as well so let me know if that works for you.

I stayed at the Riviera Princess in October and it was a beautiful resort. We met with the WC there and she was very nice. The only reason we decided against this resort was because we want adults only. We had upgraded to Platinum and were annoyed by the parents that thought it was ok for their loud kids to play in the small exclusive pool instead of the 5 other bigger pools. Other than that the resort was great and there were quite a few weddings during our stay so it must be good. I did get an information package for their weddings so if you need any info from there I'm more than happy to pass along what I can.

I have hyperhydrosis(feet/hands) and I hated Drysol. It smelled horrible and it did burn my skin. I hated putting it on before bed and then hoping it didn't run off and ruin my sheets and sleeping with my hands up. It never worked on my feet and it made my hands so dry the skin cracked. In fact my sweating was so bad I had surgery to stop it. Turns out that was a mistake cuz sure my hands are dry but my feet aren't(sweat worse now) and now my back sweats disgustingly. So while there are some really good ideas on here I just wanted to put in my 2cents. I really think Drysol only works for those that don't sweat that exessively cuz I know it didn't work for me or a friend who also has hyperhyrdosis.

100 Free Postcards
punkie569 replied to jlynpiatt's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I LOVE Vistaprint. I've used them for so many things already and have only paid shipping. I have only ever done the 21 day cheaper shipping and I've always gotten my package within 1-1 1/2 weeks. I've gotten free magnets, overside postcards, t-shirts, hat, and the 250 business cards. I was going to use the business card for my luggage tags(with some adjustments/add ons) and the extra I'm going to use for various things. For example I'm going to buy a big pack of Immodium and give one blister pack to everyone. Since it will just be a plain pack I'll write what they are on the back of the business card and viola! Only thing was that since they are free it does say "free business cards from Vistaprint" on the back but I just cut a strip of nice paper and stuck it over top of that with our names on it. I highly recommend going this route if you are trying to keep costs down. I've been pleased with everything I've got from them so far
