I made my tags using vista print business cards. They are free!! You can upload your monogram and the message can be written on the back . I just planned on using a a hole punch and some really nice ribbon to tie it onto my OOT bags. There are a few Vista Print threads out there with other ideas on them. Good luck with the planning!

I have not planned a wedding in St. Maarten but have been there. Will help if I can. Mishi--I was in Anguilla for a week for vacation a few years back. Isn't that the most beautiful beach you have ever seen? I stayed at the CuisinArt hotel and it was a fabulous vacation! I would loved to have planned a wedding there but it is so expensive I would not have been able to have any guests!!!

I have been looking online for these cake toppers and I finally found one for $25.00. Not bad. But I thougtht I would check to see if any BDW brides had one sitting in a closet that they would sell. If not I will buy the online one that I found. I want the monogram to be silver in color with crystals or just the plain crystals.. Thanks to all!

My colors are fuschia and green. I call the colors island pink and green. My bridesmaids will wear champagne colored dresses with a fuschia brooch on the front and carry fuschia flowers. The guys will wear tan pants and white shirts with the fuschia btnr. Both the Fi and I will wear white. The flower girl will wear a white dress with a fuschia sash. I want the reception tables to have large cylinders full of limes, with smaller arrangements of pink and green flowers on the tables. I saw some submergable (is that a word?) tea lights that I want to put in the bottom of the large cylinders of limes. There will be fuschia accents on the tables. I want the sashes for the chair covers to be fuschia too! I have it all in my head, now to put it into action.

This sounds too good to be true. I have been unsuccessfully looking for a white linen 2 button suit for the FI. I haven't seen a decent one for less than 200$ and I still haven't found his size. The idea of being able to order a custom suit is tempting.....

I am really trying to save money on the stuff that I use just to dispense information. I used Vista Print for my STD's for free. I used their free business cards as an insert with my registry and wedding website info. I used their note cards with my design on front for thank you cards. I left the inside blank and I will write personal notes in each one. I get an offer to get 10 free at a time. I have done it twice so far. I am waiting for the other free offers to get the remainder of my thank you cards free. I did have to pay 3.99 for the envelopes but I waited until they sent me a 50% off my total offer and so I paid $2.00 for them! I ordered their large postcards and made a welcome insert for the pocket of my OOT bags. The front says Welcome to Negril and our names. The back of the postcard has all the info for our wedding weekend, including times and events and appropriate dress code. So far the only info item that I am paying for is invitations. I used that same 50% off coupon and ordered 30 t shirts for my OOT bags with our info and design on them. They were $135 for all. I think with the shipping it came to about 150$. I am ordering a free lawn sign with our design and Robinson Wedding ---> on it to direct people to our wedding location at the resort. I haven't figured out how to use them for our wedding programs yet. If someone can share that info I would appreciate it! I am so glad that I found Vista Print on this site. It has saved me lots of $$!

I registered at this site. I think its a great ideal for those of us who already live together and have houses. Everyone knows that we both had houses when we met and had too much stuff. We had to have a garage sale to get rid of an extra set of everything. People had already started asking, "So what should we get you guys?" This was a great idea. Of course, all of "my" great ideas I have gotten from this site.

I love your dress! I think the lace overlay makes it perfect for Tulum. The setting is so old world, which is what the lace makes me think of. I was there two yrs ago for vacation---absolutely beautiful. Have a wonderful wedding and I am sure you will be a beautiful bride regardless of the dress you choose!

I vacationed there about 2 yrs we stayed in a private villa. Not much to do in PM after dark. The beaches were great and we made our own party or went into town..We either went to Cancun or Playa del Carmen. Which resort are you staying at?

Hi Jen. At my resort if you have a private reception you have to pay for the food and the bar. Additionally, some of my guests may not stay at my resort. That would mean I either have to buy a day pass for them or host a private reception.. I have not decided which I am going to do, it all depends on how many offsite guests I have. If everyone is onsite I can host a private reception and not pay for the bar since everyone can get their drinks at the bar in the adjoining room. (I got this info from a previous bride) I am hoping that most of my guests stay on site! I hope I helped clear up the confusion. I was a bit confused myself when my WC kept discussing the price per person for the bar!
