Hello Ladies, Does anyone know if Aventura Spa Palace has released their pricing out to Travel Agents yet for 2010 ? I feel so dumb telling any guest who ask about pricing any day now any day now. I thought everything would be out by March 1 and now it's almost May and there's nothing for pricing besides what the hotel said we can do directly through them. I feel like even though you'd think you have to plan a DW early the hotels limit you to only about 7 months prior

Wow that really stinks. I'm sorry. It also sucks that sometimes flying can make your period come as well. I know before I got my IUD whenever I would fly I would get my period on vacation and then after I got home I would get it again. Hope you find a good solution

I really like the target brand whitening strips. They are kind of waxy and they're bright blue so you probably only would want to use them in the privacy of your own home and not wear them out, but I too had sensitivity problems with the crest strips and anything cold and hot was unbearable when i used them. My fiance and I are also getting married in the states about 2 weeks before our Riviera Maya wedding. Our travel agent advised us that it's the best choice and it makes all the paperwork so much easier. We initially made the decision to have a private ceremony in the states because our grandparents are not able to travel to Mexico with us. We thought that they would appreciate to be involved and attend a private ceremony with just the grandparents and the parents. My fiance and I joke that the legal service is our trial marriage

Ours is very random we wanted to avoid the hurricane season and also give our guests enough time to save up and request off of work. We originally set it for February 19, but then our travel agent said we'd probably avoid the spring breakers price hike by going in Jan ... so here we are Jan 29 2010 ....

Hey 2010 Brides, We have decided on Aventura Spa Palace for our wedding January 29th 2010. I fell in love with the resort from the second I saw the pictures and everyone I have heard who has gone there has 0 complaints. I don's mind that there is no real beach and it's just a lagoon that you can snorkel in. I actually find that better because I'm so afraid of sharks that I barely have ever gone into the ocean. I think that the Palace resorts have the most accommodating wedding packages that have no hidden fees for having up to 35 Guests. We are probably going to have between 30 -35 Family and close friends join us for our wedding.

I too am buying a plain wedding band to cut down on the costs pre wedding and then updating hopefully for the 1st anniversary. My engagement ring has 10 channel set diamonds going down from the cathedral setting stone and the matching wedding band has about 14 channel set diamonds which is going to be a little too expensive for us right now. My thought is now we should buy inexpensive rings and have a nice little engraving put on these and once we can upgrade to nicer wedding rings I can wear my special engraved one on a necklace .

Hello My name is Jessica and I'm from Chicago. I am very excited to stat planning my Destination Wedding. I am just beginning this venture so we do not have a date or a specific location picked out. My Fiance Tony and I are thinking Feb 2010 though. I started looking at different resorts and really love Aventura Spa Palace and Moon Palace. If anyone has any comments or recommendations I would love to hear your story. This is all very exciting and a little overwhelming so it's nice to find a forum of support.
