  1. I agree with the other girls with having her stand a certain way so it doesn't show. You could always use the hair trick too. If she has longer hair pull it more towards that side and have it cover the tattoo and position her hands or bouquet so you can't see the one on her wrist
  2. Hello Mandy, Congrats and Welcome
  3. I tried this one from Mac and i love it. It kind of tingles, but in a good way. They also have awesome shades.
  4. I am a snacker Here are some of my guilty pleasures: Spinach dip with Hawaiian bread Those Honey BBQ spiral fritos Chocolate Teddy grahams
  5. I'm sorry Vikki, It's hard to lose a grandparent and then a couple weeks later lose a pet that (most times) feels like a child. I'll keep you in my thoughts. April has been such a gloomy rainy month anyways it doesn't help to be in a sad mood. What you need is a fun ladies weekend. Go shopping, get dressed up, and hit the town with your favorite gals. I know that always helps me when I'm in a sad down mood

    Congrats, Welcome to the forum
  7. I love my Blackhawks, and they're actually good this year.. The past week I don't think I went to bed before midnight once
  8. I am very curious about clip in hair extensions as well. Are they pretty easy for anyone to put in? I was recommended by brides who went to my resort to do your hair yourself or have your MOH tackle it because the salon will make your hair big and poofy. I want extensions because I don't think my hair is going to grow out long enough before, but I don't want it to look stupid if I have my sister try and she doesn't know what she's doing.
  9. I love facebook. Gives me something to do when I'm bored at work... The only thing I hate is that I was dumb and accepted a couple work people as friends on facebook even though we're more acquaintances so I can never vent without the fear of someone seeing and it getting back.
  10. I am loving this concoction lately. Peach Vodka, Tonic water and limes. I love vodka tonics but the peach adds the perfect sweetness. I always love sangria as well but it knocks me off my feet way too fast.
  11. My grandparents and the FI's grandparents are not able to attend our DW so we are actually having our legal ceremony at home a private event for just the parents and the gp's. We are going to have a symbolic ceremony down in Riviera Maya, but we're not telling anyone we already are married and we're treating that as our real wedding. It's a little odd to have to go through the wedding twice but oh well everyone gets to be part of it and then we get 2 anniversary dates.
  12. Wow, very brave. I have a friend who is doing the same. She got a butterfly tattoo on her back when she turned 18 and I think she said she liked it a week and then regretted it.
  13. Hey so wow your problem sounds a little like my own. I have a 11 month old puggle Mya aka (Beast that's what I call her). When my FI and I are home she has to be around us constantly and if we're not paying attention to her she will go destroy things like my bras, my laptop cord, oh gosh she even ripped some of the carpet up in our guest room. We're really bad doggy parents and we rarely walk her especially since it has been cold out. I think exercise is one of the biggest things that contributes to bad behavior. So here's what our saving grace is DOGGY DAYCARE. So yeah doggy daycare is pretty expensive so we decided to take her there on Wednesdays. It works out great. She is around us all Saturday and Sunday so she's pretty good on Monday and Tuesday. By Tuesday night she can be a little bit of a brat and steal my things and have me chase her around the house to get them back but come Wednesday she is an angel. She is so good and tired Thursday and Friday from playing all day with doggy's on Wednesday that she is calm and will just lay around and chew on her bones. That is the only thing that has worked for us. Good luck with your doggy. They're a ton of fun, but they just love to test your patience.

Congrats Jessica, and welcome to the forum.
  15. Yeah I agree rock out the pink shoes. It's your day have some fun.
  16. We chose a Friday wedding. We are arriving at the Resort on Tuesday because the WC said we needed to be there by 11 am on Wednesday to have it count as 3 days prior. Flying from Chicago in January, you do not risk delays so we thought oh well we have to extend our trip 1 more day no biggie . Our guests are arriving on Wednesday and they're going to stay until either Saturday or Sunday, budget permitting. I think this will work out great. We're not too concerned about the immediate alone time. The FI and I already live together, so it's not like we're insisting on immediate alone time.
  17. Congrats, how awesome. I heard Maui is absolutely beautiful. Welcome to the forum.
  18. Hello Anne, Welcome to the forum. Congrats
  19. Awesome, Congrats Mags. Welcome to the forum. Have fun planning. It will be nice to have all that time on your hands, but what I have found is that for getting things set up for guests to book you almost have to wait 7 months prior because most places either don't have the pricing or they change some things up.
  20. That's a good idea. These are things I haven't even thought about. My biggest concern is the drinking bloat.. We're getting down a full 3 days before the wedding and so are our guests. Most of my family and definitely my FI's family are big drinkers. I honestly don't want to drink anything until after the wedding because i always get all bloated and fat looking when i drink, my whole face blows up. Hopefully everyone leaves me alone and lets me just wait until after the wedding to celebrate. I wonder if a water pill would help with that too hmmm
  21. great thread. I'm starting to work on what I want to put in mine. I don't want to go too crazy because everything I choose I have to fit in my luggage.
  22. Hello and welcome to the forum. My best advice is to look for forum threads for each of the places you are looking to go. I am getting Married next Jan at one of the Palace Resorts. I liked their wedding packages the best. The package I'm choosing is $1900 and it will accommodate up to 35 guests .. which it looks like I'm going to be right around that number. Best of luck with your planning
  23. what a great idea. I always wondered about that.. I'm like ok i'd like a fun water shot but do i have to walk around in a soaking see through dress the rest of the night hmmm.
  24. I don't think you're selfish. I too would be disappointed if my best friend decided to back out of coming to my wedding and especially if she was waiting to tell you until you confronted her about it. I'm sure things are tight financially, but this is your one big day and I'm sure that the camp could have made an exception for her to miss a day to go to your wedding, it just seems like an excuse
  25. I'm going to splurge.. I'll probably buy like 7 new bikinis. I really like some of the designs Betsey Johnson has. They're really pricey but so cute
