So excited to see another october bride, can i watch your wedding then?ill promise i will not be topless and no speedos, LOL Yes, the different packages listed on the site come with different prices. the most expenive one comes with 24 photos, of course you can buy more for $$per pictures. You can for sure use them for the whole shabang, But myself and some other brides hiring an outside photographer. As far as the eclipse, is most of the place inside?i wonder how they do the set up for chairs?it does looks like more of the rooftop place...im not sure about it ...but i guess on the goood note, we wont have to move after the reception and just stay for the nightclub at 10.30 i was counting on for the fountain for the ceremony too. whats ur colors? if you need a pdf file for the packages:email me at [email protected]

So ladies, i just got off the phone fwith Christina, btw her english is excellent. I had to find out from her if i would arive saturday and have wedding monday would give us enough time, even though i know its cutting it too close. But i was really hoping to catch a direct flight on sat. She told me Friday is the latest when i can arrive so she can meet with me saturday morning. I also asked about the Castaways, since i was booking my wedding date when Claribel was around and when they were still offering this restaurant for the wedding. She kept pushing "Eclipse"for the reception...isnt it a night club?does anyone has pictures of any weddings beeing held there?i cant find any. I asked her to do her best and try to make it work for Castaways, but in the meanwhile i would like to see the pictures of eclipse...

Im digging through all my emails now...I wish i used gmail for communication with Claribel, so they all would be in one area. I could have swore that she did offered me one of this restaurants...I will call Christina tomorrow, I cant wait to see your pictures from Blue Lagoon vav

ok, i just headr from Christina. and this is what she said: "We have the relaxation pool, beach and ballrooms available for reception. The A la Carte Restaurants are not longer used for receptions as the Hotel is full occupancy and all restaurants are open every night for dinner. I am looking in Claribels emails to you to see if I find a confirmation of this restaurant for you as this coulb be the only way to do my best and see if we get a way to honor this. but if it inst in writing, we can look at another location" Does it mean no more Capers, Castaway or Capers available for the wedding?If this is the case,im really really angry!!!

@teamboyd. the only direct non stop airline that goes from Boston to PUJ, is Jetblue. I called them today and they said that they dont credit the account back if the air drops for group booking any longer, Unless everyone books it separately then they can credit the account in the form of jetblue credit. But again whether we book as a group or separately, its the same rate. What did you mean by booking via orbitz?price assurance?does it have to be a package hotel/air or it can be just air?tnx

@Kristina you can always make changes in what package you decide, closer to your wedding i think. I would just put deposit for the medium package and this way you will have your date booked..

i know i know i hope so. The only non stop flight is jetblue, and they can adjust the price if it drops, but in form of credit. which sucks..i would want my money back...but i guess better then nothing... so im freaking out...so aggrevating...

ive gotten quotes on my other dresses from jasmine and dressylime, they r my top 2. they both do incredible job!jasmine usually chages dowble 40%more then dressylime. So i thinks i will go with dresssylime. But again they are both top 2dressmakers. I have seen pictures of their work, they both do incredible job and i would fell safe going with either one.which dress u end up getting?/ordering?

@erin, thanks for trying to put them up, idk why its not working... now i found a bride who is selling her dress(the dress #1) she is asking 650$(originall dress is $950) i wouldnt pay 650$for it defenetly, so now im debating..i kind of wanted to buy it made. and it will be under 500$for sure, but i think this bride may sell it for 400$, which is still a good price. But for this cost i can have it made,and ask for a different cut/shape on the chest. what do u think?

I need you advice/suggestions I tried on dress #1 and loved it, hopefully wont change my mind. It is a little bit on more of a plane side and no blink. I tried it with a belt and loved it(well belt was $450)i will sure find something for less. i also may want some blink around the breast area, maybe beading around?what can i get?and for the belt, the one that i tried with swarowski crustals looks like the one they stitched on top, jus the crystals..not sure. So will i be better off buying a belt separetly and have seamstress in usa do it, or have chini dressmaker put some bling there?i also wanted to have them chagne the shape around chest a bit. #1 Allure

Sorry for the long post, but i need ur advice. dress #1 allure that i tried the other day is the "dress"100$ im refusing to change my mind. It looks a bit plane no blink, so i tried it with a little bling belt and loved it, well the belt was $450, but i will find something for less(suggestions are welcome) What do you think if i get this dress but the cut area is more like dress #2 Mikaila. And i kind of want some bling... what kind of bling i can do?so it doesnt look plane, maybe some on the chest breast area going around?or will it bee too much?and will i be better off asking them to put some crystals kind of like the belt i have on when they make a dress?or should i be on the safer side and buy a belt separetely and hace seamstress in the USA do it? @Thomas. Yeah 135-200$ sounds right, actually its more on the high side of the price. But it also depends what time of the year you will be going. Im not really sure abt using the TA as far as booking a wedding. Im doing all the leg work with the resort wedding coordinator myself. But will be using an agent who people mmay call and book air/resort for the group rate. You should just look for the resort prices on bookit.com or even orbitz and see what are the prices for the resort...and narrow it down which top 5 resorts u may like and if its in the price range, then look for wedding packages they have and compare..at least this is what i have done. good luck

honestly i have used jetblue from BOS-PUJ many times at different seasons, and as far as i can recall i it was never more the 500 for direct non stop
