  1. We invited around 45 guests but will probably end up with around 25-30. After the ceremony we will have a cake/punch reception and then everyone's free to go!

  3. I used 5/8 inch ribbon, On the orange ones I got 7/8 inch ribbon but I will exchange them for 5/8 because I don't like how they are bunching up! Oh and I used gluedots.
  4. Hello ladies, How's everyone coming along? I'm working on raffia fans and my jumping broom, other than that, I've been purchasing a little here and there for the AHR. Oh and today we are paying off our cruise honeymoon
  5. I totally know how you feel!! I will turn 24 right before we get married, and I've always wanted 2-3 kids before 30! Crazy I know, but I'm terrified of being an older mom! Now that we are closer to the wedding fiance and have have agreed that we will start a family after our 1st year anniversary, We want to enjoy being married, although we've been together for 5 years already. It's very hard to shake baby thoughts, but I know that is important for us to spend that first year alone
  6. Yes they are from oriental trading co., but I purchashed them from a knot bride. Jenese~ That's crazy that we have the same colors and getting married in the same month, neat!
  7. Here are some more DIYs... I finished the broom 1 week ago, and am in the process of doing 35 fans. I've finished about 6.
  8. I personally don't see why it would be offensive for you to jump the broom. I think it would be a GREAT way to include your fiance's culture. I say Go for it
  9. I actually thought they weren't in our budget until I started researching everything. I purchased the bottles and boxes from sand art supplies for less than $30 bucks, then got the sand,shells @ michaels, parchment paper at walmart, and mini umbrellas @ party city... Total cost for 25 invites was around $45 bucks or less, I also purchased plastic bottles for the 10 that I have to mail out!

  11. Fiance and I made up an invite the other night while sitting around the house... Will still need to add some final touches but I just wanted to share Actual Invite Will be in box with Brochure
  12. Yay!! yesterday Fiance and I booked a cruise to the Bahamas with carnival I'm soooo excited. To top it off my best friend just booked her flights for our wedding so now we have 2 official guests!!
  13. I too am in the same situation. My mother and cousins want to throw me a shower anyway. I'm inviting everyone that's coming to the wedding...about 10 women, then maybe 12 or so that are coming to our AHR. It'll be fine!
  14. Hello all! I am thinking of having a honeymoon themed bridal shower. We are registered with honeyfund and thought this was a great idea. I was also thinking guests could give things we use while honeymooning.... is this a good idea?

  18. I can't believe I'm under 200 days! Boy how does time fly. I want to thank you ladies for all the wonderful ideas I've gained on this forum. I'm soooo excited!

Book hotel rooms Book HM cruise pay remaining balances DIY message in bottle invites cakes
  20. My mom is calling those family members who said no to make sure... We will not send invites if they have already told us they can't come. Do what works for you!
