I think we will just have the one for the wedding open so people at the AHR can purchase things from the registry if they choose to. We are not sending any registry info in invites, only word of mouth and website!

Our budget looks like it's going to be around $8000 for wedding and AHR.... our plan was $5000, but for $8000 I'm definately not complaining!!!

This definately happened to me! At first we wanted to get married in Florida, where he proposed, then we switched to Gatlinburg. After our scouting trip in Gatlinburg, I realized that my heart was dead set on a beach wedding. It just didn't feel right. When you find the right place, you will know it. Originally I had dreamed of a carribean wedding, but chose Florida because of its affordability and what it meant to my Fiance and I.

The closer it gets for me to actually start trying on wedding dresses, I'm starting to lean towards shorter dresses... With that being said, Has anyone tried/chose this gown: Alfred Angelo #1142 Alfred Angelo... Find the perfect Wedding Dress, Bridesmaid Dress, Prom Dress, Flower Girl Dress or Mother of the Bride Dress at Alfred Angelo. I'm adding this to the growing list of dresses that I will try on. What do you think?

Sorry no pictures now! I've made T-shirt with wedding details for my fiance, Address Labels for invites, rubberstamps, and our STD postcards so far. I will definately be taking advantage of more things the closer it gets to the wedding!

I'm a Medical Records Clerk at the hospital. I will be starting nursing school in August 09 to become a Labor & Delivery Nurse.

We are not doing them for the simple fact that it is not in our budget. We will have a welcome brochure/book for our guests though. We may have favors, but I'm not for sure as of now. Like the girls mentioned, They are not mandatory and depends on what you want.

Your right, I've done the big things, but I'm sure the details will add up! I just don't know where to start next! I'll figure it out.

I'm getting married in August 2010 as well, We sent ours out EXTREMELY early around 20 months in advance. We wanted to be sure to give everyone a heads up! Its truly up to you though.

My plan was to get as much done with the wedding as possible before starting my nursing program in August. With my wedding being 16 months away, i've sent out STD's, booked a hotel in florida, created a wedding website, and even put down my deposit with my wedding coordinator... And now I'm getting...dare I say it? BORED!!! What can I do that I haven't already, obviously I have to wait to do things like invites, OOT bags, etc... Are any of you 16 months from your wedding. What should I be doing? This summer I'm going to start trying on dresses, but I'm getting soooo impatient.. Is this normal?

we got engaged August 08 and are getting married august 2010. We wanted to have a chance to save up money and also for atleast one of us to get out of school. I will have 2 semesters left of nursing school after my wedding!

This is the VERY reason I'm thinking of not having ANYONE in my wedding but the two of us. To alk to your friend and try to figure out if she truly wants to be apart of your wedding, if not it's better to find out sooner than later. Hang in there!
