There is whale watching and also wild dolphin swims. The wild dolphin swim my FI & I went on was amazing! The trip is run by a mexican conservation group and the knowledge they have is fantastic! Much better than going on a Vallarta Adventures dolphin swim where the animals are in captivatity. The group is called Wildlife Connection and the website is Whale watching in Puerto Vallarta, dolphin tours Mexico. They do whale watching when it is in season which is now through March (I think). They told us the babies are actually born in the Bay of Banderas so that would be super cool to do. When my FI & I did the dolphin swim it was so cool to see our guides whistle to the dolphins and watch the wild dolphins come racing to the boat. We then were allowed to hop in the Ocean and swim with the dolphins around us. It's a must do adventure!
