  2. Thanks for posting! It's so hard to keep track of everything!
  3. LOVE.IT!!!!! I'm even more sold on it now that I know they can include pets. We have a shih-tzu who is our little boy! What do you do with the topper to preserve it after the wedding? Glass/plastic box? I hope I have room in my budget for this, it's way too cute
  4. Fewer things to keep track of it you do it all together, that's my $0.02!
  5. I like the idea of a big square or a big U (3 or 4 long tables arranged) so all the guests can essentially face each other. If possible, I'd like to have the dance floor in the middle of it! I wasn't going to stress myself out with a seating arrangement since it wouldn't be separated tables. Just have to make sure DF's divorced parents aren't sitting next to each other or directly across from each other!
  6. I haven't done this personally but I assume they will let you on the resort to give you a tour, let you look around, etc, at no charge. Just don't plan on putting on your bathing suit or eating anything (or maybe they will let you sample the food?)
  7. I found these "just married" flip flops at the target website for $16.99- are they the same as the $1 ones you found?! http://www.target.com/gp/search/178-...&ref=sr_bx_1_1
  8. Amy- I just looked at your wedding photos and I absolutely LOVE them!! I love how you did your hair- did you find it to be a bother wearing it down? Dress is so beautiful! Back to the huppah flowers- did you put weights on the bottom of the strings or do you think that would have been a good idea? Did it work out okay transporting the flowers on the cardboard? End up using the hair dryer to straighten out the strings?! Hope married life is treating you well!!!
  9. Has anyone had their wedding/ been to a wedding at Beaches Turks and Caicos?? Please share!

  11. I was initially thinking Riu Palace Riviera Maya but since our families are hesitant about going to Mexico we're trying to find an alternate location. My fiance went on vacation to Aruba last year and saw the Riu- he said it's AMAAAAZING. He promises I'd be far from disappointed! I think I'm going to look more into it and reconsider this as our location! Are there any BDW brides who got married at Riu Aruba or know anyone else who's been there??
  12. You guys are awesome, thanks for the suggestions, I'm taking notes!!
  13. And so, which one did you go with?!?! I fell in love with the Paloma Blanca 3802 (your #2) in the store and did a search on the forum for it, and you popped up! I love it and I can't tell from your avatar/siggy which one you chose
  14. I'm going to a conference in San Antonio this weekend. Anyone have suggestions for where to eat/play/explore/etc?? I'm staying at the Marriott Riverwalk and won't have a car. Thanks for sharing!
  15. I think it sounds like a great opportunity! You were smart to initiate this with your photographer! As with any contract you should both sign a mutual agreement regarding the terms. You can ask her to write in that your photos will not be posted online/ will not include your full face/ that you will agree to any photos she wants to make public, etc. Get it in writing so you can rest at ease!
  16. WOW! You girls are stunning. STUNNING!!!! Can I just photoshop my face onto your bodies and call it a day? hehe How did you pick your outfits? Each one suits you so well. Wonder if I can find a group and bring Kamila to Ohio. Any takers?!
  17. Oh my goodness this sounds amaaaaazing. I'm going to start crossing my fingers, toes, and elbows that I win!!
  18. There was a link posted in one of the other RPRM threads to photographer PlayaWeddings' website... on it there was video of Fire Dancers on the beach at a RPRM wedding. How cool is that?! Does anyone know if they still offer that??
  19. Welcome! It's so nice meeting other people who've been/are going where you're going
  20. I love the lime idea. I was thinking of an "all white" theme. I saw a concept photo in a wedding book and i loved it.
  21. I like the idea of the AHR being a Sendoff party, and take place before the wedding. That way the guests can share the anticipation excitement with you rather than feeling like they missed out on the big event. Plus this way when you're back from your honeymoon you can focus on married life and not another wedding party!
  22. I'll let you know the rules on Carnival... going on a cruise Sunday!!
  23. Jacilynda- the site looks great but all the prices are in Euros. Did you have any problems with this?
  24. Great points, Jacilynda. Let us know how your dress arrives, I'm excited for you! Did you send her a picture of a dress you wanted her to recreate or order from her selection?
