Ya I saw the lanterns at your wedding, I was originally going to do that as well but I'm already having luggage weight issues so I thought it would be way easier to just rent the set up they have. Thank you though Your looked really pretty!

Thankyou everyone for the comments

  6. Hey I was wondering if any of you or anybody you saw at ROR rented the paper lanterns to decorate the poolside reception from Tai Flora. If so can you share pics or direct me where to go. As well did any of you have problems putting a 50% deposit down ahead of time or did everyhting run smoothly when you got there? Thanks in advance
  7. I too am going to wear my wedding dress all night!!!! It's sooooooo beautiful and the cremeony is like 30 minutes...why in the world would I buy a dress for only the ceremony? Im even contemplating sleeping in it haha

  9. I would be all over this if your wedding was the same week as mine. I too am looking for someone to share my photog. from Jan.30th-Feb.5/2010 at ROR....PM me as well if interested (sorry for the hijac)
  10. I love that idea, it's beautiful! Definately change the writing though, my best friend had writing down the back of her arm tghat she has had for 4 years now and you cant even read it anymore, people ALWAYS ask her what it says and it drives her crazy she is in the process of covering it up.
  11. Thank you so much for the review! It sounds like you had an amazing time..the way I see it who cares about the view anyways...how long will you actually be spending in your room Cant wait for your pics! Congrats!
  12. I agree! I looove my ticker because it get's me so excited to see how fast the wedding is coming bu at the same time that stupid little thing is saying you only have this much time to save ALOT more money hahaha
  13. glad to hear you had an amazing time!!! Very cute cake topper btw Congratulations!
  14. We bought a house (well built one) , a new car and got engaged all within 2 months and it was a little crazy! We decided to wait a year and a half before planning our wedding and Im very happy we did because I have so much more time for planning it and enjoying planning it now. Personally buying a house was the most stressful thing I have ever done and it would have taken the fun out of wedding planning. That is my opinion anyway, but I think it depends on your situation...if you think you can do it, I say go for it
  15. That was the most thorough review I have ever read...NICE WORK! Thanks sooooo much for the information it was very helpful...your pictures are beautiful and Im so glad you enjoyed the horseback riding, that was something I was unsure of but really wanted to do! Thanks again and congratulations!
  16. I definately think you should only invite the people you wanted there originally! I have had a couple people ask my parents if they were invited after I got my Rsvp's and everything and I just said sorry but I wanted to keep it small just close family and friends and if their mad then their mad..oh well they will get over it. Just be polite about it but I think they will understand!
  17. Thanks so much for your review and thanks for the spa tips....I am so worried about that part of the wedding. Im glad you had a great time though, your pictures are beautiful!

  19. Thanks soo much for the review! Thanks for the discount card tip as well I hope I remember that in 6 months. If you do figure out to post pics ( I do it by putting pics on photobucket and linking them I would love to see some of your lantern set up at the poolside....I was also talking to Tai Flora and they said it starts @ 400.00 so if I can do it just as nice, I'd rather go that way!

I shopped at Pure Bridal and didn't have a very good experience there- the consultant I had was NOT very knowledgeable at all!! Oh well... Godd luck with everything- I know it will be fine!!! Really? That sucks, I found them to be the most helpful of all the salons in calgary and Edmonton haha I guess it depends on who you get....Also I really wanted a pronovias dress so that kind of limited my salon choice. I just phoned the salon, I think Im just going to take the dress on friday (make sure everything is ok with it and the color is right) and bring it back to calgary to get altered (that way if I have to do more than one fitting I don't have to keep driving out there)
  23. Hey ...really? Now I'm stressed haha! I bought it at Pure Bridal. I found it in January, they ordered it and it arrived in June. Nobody ever said anything to me about waiting for the fitting. I guess it's in case your body changes (Though I've weighed the same since I was in grade 9 Yikes, should I be cancelling this.....I really didn't want to have to drive that highway in the winter
