It has been a bit slow. Who is the next bride to get married? We should update the bride list although I can't imagine when the last update was made.... -
I have finally made it through from where I left off! So busy with work and my MBA I have neglected the forum. I am 61 days out and received NO word that the US office was closing. My WC was Flora so I am relieved to see she is still around. I just sent her an email to confirm. Thanks for the great info ladies as always!

I was definitely up this week, but I blame it all on a trip to Scottsdale for a wedding:-). The company I work for is participating in a program called Shape up the Nation that begins on Monday so I will get on track after the weekend. Between this forum and my co-workers hopefully I can stay on track. It is just so hard when there are so many temptations sitting around the store.

hi ladies, I am getting married at The Royal Playa del Carmen on September 18. I am super excited and so ready to be in mexico!!! I totally understand the dragging of feet in regards to selecting a wedding dress. I finally ordered my Maggie 2 weeks ago. Should be here in August.... soooo excited!

I did my Jillian Michaels workout yesterday and I am SO sore!! BUT, I need to get off the couch and jump back into it before work. Happy Wednesday!

I'm a maggie bride!!! Just purchased my dress today....August is going to be a long wait!! Here is a pic of me and my mom with the dress. Not the proper size, but I love it! So not appropriate for a beach wedding, but I wanted a princess dress!! :-)

The company I work for is starting a 12 week weight loss challenge. I am super excited for the motivation. Now maybe people won't bring so much crap to work for us to share!!

I just don't care for the floral pattern. I feel like I am settling and I think what really made the original dress was the ivory color. There were various emails with photos back and forth and they assured me they could replicate the color of the original dress. AHHHH it was a risk I took..... back to the drawing board! :-)

Hi Ladies....I have proof pics!!! I posted the pic of me in the original at the end. I do not know how to feel about it...while it looks good at first the more I look at it the more issues I see. For example on the left side of the pic of just the bodice it looks like there is boning or something sticking out a bit. I also don't care for the floral pattern at the top as the original was just beading. Also this dress looks VERY white, I ordered ivory. For anyone that has ordered ivory how would you describe the coloring?

the 30 day mark has hit....I'm soooooo ready to see my proof pics.....my fiancee is so cute though and said I could order the original if I didn't love the replica....i heart him...but it is still soooooo expensive....

I tried it and lasted about a half of a glass before I wanted to die. A girl I worked with did it a few times and everytime she gaine more weight than she lost. I <3 food too much! LOL

So, I've called the Royal and have been assigned to Flora. Is anyone working with her and should I be concerned? That is such a bad thing to say, but after the lack of communication I can't exactly be faithful. Now its time to go through my emails and make sure we are on the same page.

beautiful dresses ladies! I am anxiously awaiting my proof pics. I hope I don't have any "issues" because I really do not want to spend the $1700 the original dress costs....fingers crossed

Thank you so much for your feedback ladies. A co-workers family owns a bridal shop and she told me the majority of dresses are made in China anyway. I guess its good for us right? Oh and post those pics soon :-)

So glad to hear they are working on the communication issues, I hope! I have Suzanna and her lack of communication is extremely frustrating. I had to email her the same list of questions every week for a month before I got a response. Completely rediculous!! If we can't get answers how are we supposed to plan a wedding?
