Just got back from Dreams Tulum yesterday from our wedding on November 20, 2009. I have to write a more thorough review for you guys, but just wanted to let you all know that it was PHENOMENAL! Absolutely amazing time at Dreams Tulum and what a beautiful wedding we had!! To anyone getting married there in the future, you absolutely made the right choice!

This might sound like a silly question, but I'm just wondering...drinks are complimentary at the reception, right? (Being that DT is an all-inclusive resort). How does it work exactly? Is there an open bar set up at the reception or do guests need to go out to one of the hotel bars to get drinks? Thanks! Christina

I'm sure you've seen it...but in case you haven't, there is the MOST helpful Dreams Tulum thread here that you HAVE to check out. It's been so helpful to me thus far, and I'm sure it will continue to be throughout the rest of my planning!

So I've seen some recent posts in other forums about the weather in November.....anyone been to Mayan Riviera in November that can tell me from experience what the weather was like?

Hi Everyone! Getting everything in order for a November 20th wedding at Dreams Tulum Resort in the Mayan. So far we've finished the invitations, I've ordered my dress, bought my shoes, booked the venue and purchased our vacation package. Seems like a lot has been accomplished already! Still need to get the groom dressed as well as the bridesmaids and groomsmen....and ALL the decorations need to be figured out. But there's still time for all of that. I've seen so many great ideas posted here and learned so much about Dreams Tulum and how weddings are run there. I haven't chatted too much on here, and I'm just in the beginning of the planning process, but we've booked our date at DT for November 20, 2009!! Can't wait! Christina

Hi Everyone, I am getting married at Dreams Tulum on November 20, 2009. My specific question here is for brides who have already had their wedding experience at Dreams Tulum. Now I noticed in many of the photos that they put a sand coloured carpet down on the beach to walk on, and I'm wondering how easy it is to navigate the aisle in heels?? I just bought my wedding shoes, and ABSOLUTELY love them, I'm just realizing now that there is the possibility I won't be able to wear them...please somebody tell me otherwise!! Christina
