Thanks Hazzardl!! When we booked our stay it was $4,500 and that's only 7 nights and doesn't include airfare or airport transfers. Is your price including your airfare also? Did you use a travel agent? We don't know an agent well, so we just called a friend of a friend who ended up giving us the same quote as Continental for our flights and said the hotel wasn't running any specials know and it was the same price as when we called the hotel directly! What exactly are travel agents supposed to do? I'm so confused!! I wanted our families to proceed with their arrangements...but these prices are alarming!

Good luck on your first week Lisa!!! It helps to set "mini" goals...33 might sounds too overwhelming...so, maybe say...10 lbs by August 3rd...something like that...it always seems to push me harder! Either way, good luck...you can do it!!

So, a couple of months ago we booked our stay at the Palace directly with them for $4,500 for the dates of 1/4/10-1/11/10...so thought the price was high, but went ahead with the reservation as we needed it to proceed with having our wedding date reserved with Claudia...today I decided to check prices and almost fell off my chair!!!! It's not $7,000 for a week!!! What is going on?!?!?!?! These prices are OUTRAGEOUS! No way are my guests going, LOL! We can barely afford it ourselves! Does anyone know what is going on? Have you ladies booked your stay? Was it an astronomical amount of money?! This is scary! Yet, flights are $260 which is fantastic. If we were going next week it would cost $2,000 for both of us for a week. I know with the whole flu thing going on and I know that January is peak time...but OMG!!! That is a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee difference! What should I do? I contacted a family travel agent and she said there are no deals going on right now with Barcelo and we should wait. I need a new travel agent. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

absolutely beautiful slideshow! it's giving me a taste of what my wedding will look like! we have the same colors! i also happened to noticed on the engagement ring thread that your ring is practically identical to mine except i have a double band shank setting...i love our unique style! and i love your photographer...every shot was candid and artistic! perfect!

at first i wanted orange and turquoise...but then our save the dates were an ivory background with an orange floral design and no turquoise at all...so i think we're just having ivory, orange, and chocolate brown as an accent color. my bouquet will be orange tiger lilies similar to this bouquet... http://www.wedding-flowers-and-recep...-wedding01.jpg you should go to a florist or even a craft store and see what colors you gravitate towards...go with what feels natural and draws you in, as opposed to what you think would look "nice" or "traditional"...sometimes there are certain color combination that you'd think, "ew, really!"...but they're so pretty. try going on theknot.com and search colors...you will get tons and tons of pictures, most of which are collage style that show several pictures throughout the wedding that showcase the colors...good luck!!!

I'm looking for plain wooden maracas. I was going to purchase a set and paint them with our wedding colors and hand draw a floral design (well, attempt to, lol). I googled my heart out and found absolutely nothing!! Did anyone do this or know where I can get them? Thanks!!

What is the average cost of Mishka's maracas? I would want a set for 30 people handpainted with our names and wedding date. Thanks!!

I'm head over heels with all his gowns!!!! My pick though is... MATTHEW CHRISTOPHER Click on Collections. 2008. Dress is "Imagine". I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee it! It's not a typical poofy gown...it's flowy and light, yet so detailed with each individually hand knot...I think it's gorgeous Price tag is some where along the lines of $3,000.
