  1. I decided on outside everything to be honest with you such as: photagraphy, makeup/hair stylist, florist, and now I think I am gonna do that DJ bob! Who are you using for your hair/makeup?

I think we are going to have about 50 people and I plan on having one bag per room. If I have extra bags, I will give more than one to a room. If anything, I may have to buy more bags and things near the end. Either way, it is cheaper to start buying something now!
  4. Bianca, thanks for the names of photographers. I have sent a couple of them an e-mail for more information. You are all right, the photographs are important and I want them to turn out right. I guess I will buck up!
  5. Those turned out great! I love the idea of having their address on the back. I was thinking of having them say what table they are sitting at on one side and the luggage tag on the other. Then they serve two purposes, a favor and a seating chart tag. (Or whatever they are called!)
  6. Has anyone heard of Foto Caribbean? That is the photographer my resort uses. I am wondering if they are any good?
  7. I am not sure if I want to use the photographer at my resort, Iberostar Del Mar. But, I am also not sure if I want to pay $300 bucks to bring in another photographer. What are you girls doing? How do you even find an outside photographer?
  8. I have read a lot about how well the resorts do hair, but I am wondering about the makeup. Do they do a good job? Is anyone having their makeup done or are you doing it yourself? I want it to stay on all day and I do not wear that much to start with.
  9. I am getting married at the Del Mar in November. I am very excited! I have had one e-mail conversation with the WC. Has anyone else set up anything? If you have been married there, any advise? Pictures? We are getting married in the gazebo and renting the Tropical Restaurant for the reception. I am not too happy that we have to pick one meal for everyone, but we went with chicken!
  10. Thanks for the info! I am now a junior member! Thanks for all the posts; I am sure it helped!
  11. You should book a place first. I think it is nice to put a venue on the invites. I made the invites (STDs) first and had to throw them all away. When my travel agent called, my date had been taken! We had to book somewhere else.
  12. Make a list of all you need to buy and keep it in your purse. This is a great one! I have a list of things to get. Every week that I get paid, I order something. For instance, I am going to have welcome bags for my guests. I have a list of what I want to put in them and the cost. Each time I get paid, I order 2 or 3 things and spend like $60. This is the only way I can do it!
  13. I have been on this site for about 2 months now. It is great and I am so glad I found it! I am wondering how to change my status from a Noobie to a Junior Member? I feel silly even asking!

  15. What totes are they if they are not the .99 ones?

  17. I am going to legally change my name when we get back. I guess I should contact the WC and see if it even matters. If it doesn't, we will do it after. It is a good idea to invite family members who cannot make it to the DW. Thanks!
  18. Hi girls! I am getting married at the Iberostar Del Mar in November. We are just having a blessing ceremony. I am trying to figure out if we should do the legal ceremony before or after Mexico. I kind of want to do after so that the first time we are saying our vows to each other is in Mexico. Any thoughts/advise?

  20. Thank you so much for the info! I am going to look at your video. I am getting married there in November 2009. I am getting very anxious to get everything ready! Did you get married at the gazebo or on the beach? How were your flowers? Did the DJ have music you wanted for the first dance? Father/Daughter?
