  1. Thank you for the warm welcome! I appreciate it. At this point, I have figured out what I need legally and when to start the paper work. I think we will hire a coordinator for that plus the reception. I have gotten some suggestions from others regarding where to get my hair done and activities. I have also decided on a "theme". Theme is in quotes b/c I'm not a theme person but oh well. The Amalfi Coast is known for citrus fruit, specifically lemons. I love lemon flavored anything, candy, cake, etc. So, I'd like my bouquet to be soft yellow roses with white calla lilies. My invitations, that I will make myself because we are only inviting 17 people will have something to do with lemons and/or be a pale yellow with green accents. I would like the tables at the reception, whether it be at a hotel or restaurant (TBD), to have lemons on them. I saw some small topiearies done with lemons that were beautiful. This "theme" is pretty typical of me, not the chosing the theme but using organic material as decorations. I will begin to try on dresses in May of this year, it will be one year out from the wedding and I think that is appropriate. I am dying to try on dresses though. I think I'd like to get a sheath style dress. I think that is fitting to the location. I would like to try some on with and without straps, just to see what I prefer. I do have some other things researched but that seems to be the most right now.
  2. Hello. I have been engaged for a while but I am just starting to research my DW options. My fiance and I have decided to get married in Positano, Italy in May 2010. Yes, I know, it seems far away but it will be here before I know it. The date is set far off because I am starting grad school in January and want to get a good start before getting married. Also, this is going to be quite expensive, we need to save. Anyway, any and all advice regarding getting married in Europe, specifically Italy, is more than welcome. cheers, Robin
