I do remember reading that too! However, I really like this dress and think it would make for great pics out of the water as well. Because we're getting married in Cabo, we won't fully be in the water ... more like along the shoreline ....I think?!?! Definitely something to keep in mind though. I am also keeping my eyes open for other ball gowns too ....

Hi all, I am currently online filling out a form for FI to get a replacement birth certificate. We are planning on having a symbolic ceremony in Cabo, but I can only seem to find the requirements for a Civil/Legal ceremony. Specifically, I need this answered .... do we need to have the long forms of our Canadian birth certificates for a symbolic ceremony? Thanks for your input! Angela

Hi ladies, I am looking for a TTD. I tried this particular Mori Lee dress on when I was looking for my ceremony dress and it was one of the final choices. I picked up my ceremony dress last night and while I love it, I think I've decided I want something really different for my TTD. I'd love to find this dress used - preferably for under $300 in a size 6 or so. I don't know much about Hawaii, but my friend went there for her money and I know they found their place on VRBO.com and had a great experience!!! Also, try HomeAway Vacation Rentals: Beach Houses, Condos, Cabins, Villas & Vacation Rental Homes. A bunch of girls from this forum got together and rented a condo off there and it was great. I am sure there are lots of other options other than condos though. Good luck!

My friend is a graphic designer. She got some of the supplies for my invites here: Fancy Paper - Envelopes, Stardream, Vellum, Wholesale It is Canadian and she found things to be much cheaper and of the same quality as places she usually orders from in the States.

I am so excited! I picked up my dress tonight!! It was ordered in November and the store called just the other night, instead of in May when it was due to arrive. We got it done up with no problem, but it's definitely snug!!! I need only a few alterations I think. I am just glad I still like it as much as I did when I picked it! I know it's an Exclusives by Allure dress. The store told me the style number is P806, but I cannot find it anywhere online!!!

How much are they? I prefer the one with the buttons, as I looooove covered buttons! It was the one thing I knew I wanted my dress to have! I am looking for a TTD and the DB dress looks somewhat similar to mine and I know they can be reasonable with their prices.

As of tomorrow, I can check getting my dress off the list!!!! I pick it up tomorrow! Yay!! Then I will need to find somewhere to alter it, assuming it needs alterations. I don't want the store I am getting it from to do them ... haven't heard good things!

I just noticed the Barbie brand shoes at Town Shoes here in Canada the other day! They didn't have those particular one, but I know there is another location in one of the malls here. Really? I am dealing with Mariana and she has been great so far. I know most other Dreams Los Cabos brides have been fairly happy with the service they have received from this resort too. Perhaps it's that your wedding is far away and they are busy dealing with the current weddings. It's not reason to give you the runaround, I know, but I suppose it can happen. Good luck with everything though. I hope it will get better for you!

Hi everyone, This may seem like a strange question, but I was thinking about it and couldn't find any info, so I thought I'd just put it out there. I am wondering what the standard chair option is at Dreams Los Cabos. We are getting married at the gazebo and I want to know what they typically set up for that area. I know the Tiffany style chairs are $8 each, but I am not sure that is worth it. It really depends on what the standard is. Thanks!

Marlin fishing is a pretty big thing in Cabo - I know it can get kinda pricey, but it might be worth looking into.
