Well I've communicated with her all day and she said that if I decide to have a reception that's during the time of the other wedding then she'll be with me and have an assistant at the other wedding. To be honest if she would have told me she had assistants than this wouldn't even be an issue. So fortunately it is resolved and I think we were ab;e to salvage our relationship lol. Thanks for all ur advice.

Ok so I'm contemplating firing my WC and working with someone else. But I really need to know what you all think about this situation and would you just let this fly. Ok so Over 2 months ago and I was looking for a WC and I emailed someone (I won't use any names bc my WC is well known on these boards but isn"t a BDW WC) to ask if she was available or booked for my wedding day which is 11.10.09. She said that she was not so we paid our booking fee immediately and have been working with her intensely since then. Last week she emailed me to find out what time I had requested for my wedding. I had never discussed a time with her so she asked if I wanted to do it at 10 or 11 am. I told her whatever she thought was best would be fine with me. Well this morning in my CC Roll Call for my cruise a bride on the thread told me that I must be our WC's other bride for 11.10.09. She informed me of her wedding that my WC was coordinating on the same day in the afternoon at 3. (My wedding is at 11). I was very concerned bc we haven't decided if we were going to have a reception in St Thomas or on the ship. Our plan was that after the wedding we would go on a island tour and then have our reception (around 3). Well now my WC is doing another wedding at 3. I emailed my wc with my concerns explaining that in our 1st communication I asked if she was free on my wedding day and she said yes. But now she's doing another wedding. I also explained that I am not comfy having a wedding on the island w/o having my wc as a point of contact for the entire time that we're on the island. She responded telling me (in a very nice way not rude or anything) that she never said that she wouldn't do 2 weddings in one day, just that she tries not to. And that the other wedding is only a vow renewal and the bride and groom were scheduled for another date but their cruise ship got dry docked so they had to reschedule. She was very reassuring stating that she explained to the other bride that ultimately my wedding is priority (which I personally wouldn't accept as a bride but anyway) since i had booked first. She also explained that she has done this in the past and it wouldn't be a problem at all. While I sympathize with their issue, I really don't care and I feel that my wc is going to be preoccupied with another wedding on my day. I am now looking for other WCs in St Thomas although I have not fully made the decision to stop working with my wc. I really like her and have had zero problems with her but (I know this is gonna sound spoiled brattish) I want her to myself on my day. Should I continue working with her or just find someone else Please help!!!!

Sarice I'm taking my bms to the Bridal Boutique on Sat. Did your bms get their gowns there? We are also checking out David's bc I would expect them to be a little less expensive. One of my bms dropped out this morning so I'm contemplating what I'll do. At this point I only have 2 bms. We have 3 groomsmen. I have two sorors going (maybe more but definitely two line sisters) and I really didn't want to leave them out, but I want an even numbers aof males and females and I dont want to have to pick n choose from my sorors. Ahh the stress why couldn't my FI have more friends.

Hey I'm still eating pizza lol. J/K I'm trying this no sodas thing. One of my friends lost like 15 lbs in one month by pulling sodas. Now she was an avid pepsi drinker and I only drink ab 1 soda every other day but I'm still gonna try it.

Ballys is not working out at all. Mainly bc I'm not going. I just swipe in and leave out to get my 17 visits in 60 day so that I can leave. Althou I'm sure it will be a hassle to get out of the contract. Basically all I've been doing is watching what I eat and running up and down the steps of our 3 story house waaaay too much lol. I'm finally done unpacking and organizing. But I looked like a madman a few days ago. That's prolly how I lost a few pounds. One of my friends from another forum said she lost 15 lbs since Christmas bc she's gotten into coupon shopping and she's always racing around stores to find bargains. I'm like wow you combined shopping with losing weight. I've gotta try this lol so there goes the wedding budget but hey i"ll lose some weight lol.

I was raised by my gparents so my FI and I decided to pay for everything ourselves anf not ask my parents for a thing. it's really hard for us but very much so necessary. I'm glad to hear that things are working out for you.

Well we were gonna to stay in a Universal Studios hotel but we were gonna visit Disney and sea world discovery cove as well.

Kimber when I was typing my last comment in here I was kinda thinking the same thing: Since most things are provided free of charger why make the first aid kits? Plus on Carnival in your bathroom they provided little toiletries like razors a few pills (like sample size items). But I think I will do as someone said and go to Sams and buy in bulk (band aid, alcohol wipes maybe small neosporin sp?, And maybe little packets of pills if they have the one that come two in a pack), then make my own little kits. My group seems to be growing larger and larger so my budgeting is getting smaller and smaller lol. I have a question. Is anyone bring their own minister? And if so how much is he charging. My pastor and first lady are making a vacay out of our wedding so they will meet us in St Thomas to marry us. But he is saying that he doesnt want us to pay for anything for him. Now granted we have great relationship with our pastor and he is a very generous man but we still want to give him something. We were planning to pay for his flight and one night hotel stay. But he says he's thinking of trying to use his timeshare time for the trip. So can someone give me a valid amt of what you think we should pay him. We were thinking between $500-$1000. (We'd budgeted $1000 just in case he wanted to go on the cruise in which we would have paid for his whole trip).
