Calm down sweetie, I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't sress yourself out (u have a dw that'll keep you stressed enough lol). I never have that kind of problem bc I don't have a perios. I take prometrium (sp) every 3 months to have a period (which I edn to forget to take). So when I'm ready to kids it'll be a problem but I've had these issues all my life and I don't know what it is to have a period every month but it seems like it would suck. At any rate I'm sure you'll be fine.

I am in the same boat as I have 5 ppl (thus far) who are going but weren't invited actually I've never met any of them. 3 are women from my mom's job, mind she she has only been working there for ab 3 months meaning these ladies booked the cruise after knowing my mom for less than a month. What I did was post on my website that anyone who wasn't officially invited would have to pay (directly to myself of my fi) a fee between $35-$50 pp to cover the wedding cost. I think people forget that we are paying for things even thou it's a destination wedding. People would not invite ppl to a wedding at home, but the vacay aspect is the reason why they invite ppl. I am happy that ppl want to go but we budgeted for ppl we know and anyone else is welcome to go but we are not paying for them.

I def plan you do better by season 6 (or 7 haha). To be honest I'm really not doing anything to lose weight beside drinking a lil bit more water and eating better. But I plan to do better next time. But if we have a season 7 that should fall right in line with the 3 months before my wedding and I'll be trying to lose weight by all means necessary. I'm going to go pick up my gown next weekend so maybe that'll push me to drop some of these pounds.

Hey Ladies I can't believe I'm just finding this thread, as I too am a November 09 Bride. My wedding is 11.10.09 in St Thomas by way of the Carnival Freedom... This is what I have done so far: -Booked WC Janelle Scott of Island Bliss Weddings in St Thomas -Set up (a very active) website -Sent out Invites -Have numerous RSVPs/Bookings (RSVP/Booking ends this Friday 3.13.09) -Ordered gown (It just came in this week, 4 months early so I have to get together $400 in 2 weeks to pick it up) -Invited BMs and GMs our best man isn't confirmed yet. -Found BM dresses (they haven't been order yet thou) -Purchased mugs and postcards for OOT Bags -Booked tour/transport for wedding day -Booked cruise -completed Pre Marital Counseling -started making homemade soaps for OOT bags What's left to do... -everything else lol well we have a cruise wedding so my wc in St thomas is handling everything that occurs on the wedding day -create/assemble OOT bags (I want them done by the July) -schedule welcome aboard cocktail party on the ship -order t-shirts -stay within budget May I ask you all a personal question. What's ur budget. Our budget is less than $15,000. I'm trying to stay around $12,000 but we had initially budgeted for 30 guests and I think we'll have more like 40+. Since we're doing a cruise we decided to book a suite so that's $3000. I'm sure we can do this for ab $12,000 and 40 ppl but I have high standards. This is why I'm starting soo early bc I want to spread the cost out over a few months. And I'm doing a lot of DIY projects (which I love).

Hey guys this is a great thread and I just sat here and cut some items from my OOT bag list thanks to you all lol, my budget and FI are really thanking you. Regarding what kind of bags to get for guys vs gals. Females are getting cute totes either from cheap totes or oriental trading. Either Hibiscus flower ones or solid color orange or green (wedding colors). The guys are getting the drawstring backpacks (like nike makes) I found them on a few sites that I didn't bookmark but I'll prolly go with the ones I found on ebay. I was planning on putting our logos on bags (ironed on) but now I think we'll just have the logos printed on a thick card (like maybe vistaprints business cards or something) and hang them on the bags so our guest can take them off if they want and can use the bags more. Also regarding the mugs there's a great thread on here under the DIY section where someone purchased the dollar tree do it yourself mugs. You are able to print whatever you want and slide the print out (they come with a template) into the mugs. With these mugs ppl can change them out when they get home if they want and the best part is they're only $1. I went to DT yesterday and bought 45 of them, of course I had to explain to the cashier what they were for. lol.

I have no desire to paint anything on my parasols. I think I'll get the ones from AsianIdeas. I like the idea of one per couple thou. That should work out good bc I don't expect guys to want to have them.

I'm freaking out because my gown that I ordered 2 weeks ago arrived at the shop today. I was told that it wouldn't arrive until JULY!!! and it arrived today. Furthermore they are expecting me to pick the gown up and pay the $400 balance in one week. I'm like you have gotta be kidding me. The lady's like well we don't offer storage but we'll give you a month. Then as we were getting off the phone she's like ok I'll see you in 2 weeks. I'm like lady is it one week, two weeks, or 1 month. So now I have to come up with $400 in a week. I feel really bad bc my FI is just like we'll pay for it. But I really didn't want him to have to pay for my gown. On top of that I wanted to quit my part time job tomorrow. But now I'm scared to do so. Oh well this is a lot to sleep on.

Ok but (please dont think I'm trying to sell you on this I just like to pass along good deals) you have the ability to fly in from any airport but you'll have to fly into one of a certain amt of airports like we're doing fll and miami. Also they give you 3 days before the event and 3 days after the event to fly in. So if ppl are coming in early or staying late it helps. IE our cruise is 11.7-11.15 but we can fly anytime from 11.4-11.18.

Well I am not doing a room because we are not actually getting married until day 3 of our cruise. However I did just get us group rates on AirTran airways which is what we always fly for the 2 hr trip to fl. My immediate family isn't very picky but some of the other's who are going are. So I only needed 10 persons for the group deal and I have that with my immediate family so it should work out fine. We will mainly be flying in the morning of as we normally do unless there is a weather concern bc then we can fly in the day before and with the group program we're using we can change the the flight itinerary once. So that'll be perfect as well. We also get 10% off the lowest published prices at the time of booking. Is anyone else doing this?

My BFF is an accountant. I took my stuff to her on Tues I believe. Its the first time she's doing my taxes (as I was very unhappy with the last guy I had). I really dont care how much I'm getting back I was just worried ab owing bc my parttime job but me in a different tax bracket last year and my accountant told me to cut back on my hr in which I didn't do. So as my friend was looking over my w2 and donation info she said that i sholdn't owe. But she's not done yet soo... She said she'd be happy to see us file jointly next year as it'll really be beneficial to me.
