OK So I had my 5 month old niece overnight on fri and at ab 10 pm she decided to have a crying session so my sister told me to take her for a ride. But I was starving bc she wouldn't let me do anything but hold her and walk around. So I decided to take her for a drive. By the time I got her situated in the car she was asleep. But I decided to go for a drive anyway. Guess where I ended up... You you guessed it McDonalds and I had a delicious quarter pounder with cheese and fries and an iced tea. I'm so bad!!!

It constantly changes. It's so annoying. I just told ppl that if your only reason for getting a passport is for the wedding than to just opt for the passport card bc it's cheaper.

OK I have a question to everyone just sending their invites out. Are you sending your invites to ppl who have already booked their trips? I just couldn't imagine giving such short notice. But also I am doing a cruise so it has to be paid off by 8.24.09. I sent out my invites in Feb in think with our booking deadline being 3.31.09 it has now been extended to 5.31.09... I just felt like with the economy the way it is I wanted ppl to have as much time as possible to pay on their trips... Am I wrong

OK My situation is a little diff from everyone else's.But I'm glad we have BDW friends to vent to.... I don't think I'd tell anyone else this... I have always had lots of females friends. Mainly because I went to an all girl high school and due to my sorority. When I met my FI I was in my last semester of undergrad and I was planning to attend grad school , but decided that I wanted to build a foundation for my relationship so instead of going to grad school like all of my friends I decided to move out on my own and start my career. Now I regret that decision bc all my sorors are finishing grad school and law school and med school blah blah blah and I only have a ba and make like no $$$. So I kinda just stay in the house and focus on my relationship. I've let myself gain so much weight and I truly think I'm depressed. I have so many ppl who want to be in my wedding but I just went with one close friend and my sister and my cousin. I just feel bad that I don't interact with my friends and especially my sorors yet they're willing to pay all this $$$ to go to my wedding. I should be so grateful yet I sit in the house night after night feeling like a fat pig!!!!

I agree with Savannah and MarieSam you're hilarious... Girl don't stress yourself out over such things. We use the term fiancees but everyone else calls him my hubby (and have been way before we were even engaged). Every time they say hubby or boyfriend or man I correct them and say fiancee. Only bc we will only be engaged for 11 months so that's an important time for us and we want to acknowledge it. But I def don't freak out when someone doesn't use the term fiance/e. On the other hand we decided to do pre-marital counseling before we were engaged so once we started that my pastor considered us engaged and always has referred to us as fiance/e...

I don't know that I think 5 months is alotta time. We have 6 months til our wedding and we have about 4 ppl who haven't booked yet and I'm only giving them until 5.31.09 (the booking date actually ended 3.15.09)... One of the girls I'm waiting on is having financial diff and I explained to her that she doesn't have to go and I totally understand,but she insist that she's booking tomm... We'll see. I really feel your pain. I want ppl booked already so that they won't feel rushed to pay their balances...

Well no we really haven't gotten anything cleared up. We figured out what happened bc my fi and I are constantly checking the acct and due to the wedding, we are on a strict budget. So this morning I saw that (one of us) went to Family Dollar yesterday 2x and spent 56.00 then 31.00 I'm like umm ok... my fi wouldn't never shop there and I was with my family all day yest. When I picked up my phone to bb message him he had already sent me a message saying why'd you spend $80 at Family Dollar yest (I man seriously who spends $80 at Family Dollar the store sux).Neither of us really focused on the other 100s of dollars missing in small increments like $10 here and $15 there... I went to get my bank card out of my wallet to call the bank and noticed that I didnt have it. SO I called the 1888 # at the bank and was told that I had to complete a police report to in order for them to do the reg e form. So I went to the police dept like 4 mins from my house (ok that was a weird experience in itself bc they had 3 ppl in plastic handcuffs being loaded into a paddy wagon... totally freaked me out they almost touched me wtf!!!!). The cops n there asked me my address and said oh we're not your district you need to go to the Notheastern district. So I go to the north eastern district they tell me that I have to have a copy of the fraud affidaivt from the bank to file a report. I'm like u gotta be f...ing kiddin me. If my shoe got stolen would I need a fraud affidavit from the bank?? I called the bank again from my car in the police parking lot, the lady's like just forget it and go straight to the branch (there's only 1 branch of our bank and it's really not close to my house) and they'll print the reg e form for me to sign. Now the lady told me she completed the form. I get to the bank and they girl tells me (after searching forever for the form) that bc the transactions are still pending they can't fill out the reg e form bc the charges may drop off somehow. I'll like just kill me now please!!!! How the hell are the charges gonna magically drop off!!!!!!!! After that I just gave up and went to work exhausted.

OK I'm freaking out. Someone stole my check card (Well I think I left it at an ATM) and our acct was promptly cleared out. I'm so pissed the bank is treating me like I stole my own $$$. It's ridiculous. I swear ever since the day my fi proposed I've been sooo stressed. It's just one thing after another. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OK I just had to scream!!!!

OMG I agree with many folks on here who say that would be a very selfish request. I understand that she's your bff and all but to ask her to but her life and ultimately her family on hold for your wedding is totally unacceptable. If you have a prob with her being in your wedding preggy than just say something ab that. But please, please don't ask her to not get pregnant. I know you feel like it's your wedding and your most important day but clearly life doesn't revolve around us brides lol.

I would agree with not trying to have your group debark at the time that the ship docks bc it'll never work. Ppl with shore excursions that were booked thru the ship always get off first. I agree to push it back a bit. Also do you have to go to the courthouse or anything? We are getting married in St Thomas and we have to go to the courthouse 1st to sign paperwork so... I'll give you an idea ab my schedule (ok so clearly im making it up as i go and then I'll cut and paste it and have it done haha) Our ship docks in St Thomas at 7 am (shiptime which is 8 am island time). We leave St Thomas at 6pm. 9:00 Breakfast for the entire group in the ships dining room 9:45-10 the entire group will debark the ship (together this is why we have everyone meeting up at breakfast) 10-10:20 Entire group will be transported to the beach (which is far from the port) 11 am Wedding begins 12 Wedding ends (it"ll prolly end closer to 11:30-11:45 if it starts on time lol) 12-12:20 group transported to Reception venue 12:30-!2:45 reception luncheon begins 2:30 Leave reception for island tour 3:30 Island tour ends 3:30 -5:30 free time to shop or hit the beach (most likely ppl will go back to the ship at this point) Now here are the amendments FI will debark between 8- 8:30am and be transported to courthouse. He will then return to the ship and board the bus to the wedding site with the rest of the group. I will debark between 9-9:30 and be transported to the courthouse. I will then head straight to the wedding site. We will travel on the buses with the rest of the group for the rest of the day.

Hey Shake What's ur wedding date? Brian doesn't really do anything regarding the Marine Corp bc he's retired. Wow you have a big group, my goal is to make sure that everyone is booked by 5.31.09. So far we have 38 ppl booked but we are expecting about 42 ppl to go. We'll def stay in touch. TTFN

Congrat Kathy. I hope you have a blessed day. OK re the bachelorette party We stop in San Juan the night before the wedding so we are so gonna split up and party it up with friends in Puerto Rico. Then (bc we will be in a suite) I will sleep in the bed that night and fi will sleep on the sofa. Then that morning of the wedding he'll run out and go to the bm's room (he has his own room) and will get dressed there. Our WC will have a car pick up fi and take him to the courthouse. The car will then bring him back to the ship. I'll take the car to the courthouse. FI will ride with the group to the wedding site. I'll ride in the car to the site. I know it seems like a lot but I really wanna keep with tradition on the not seeing him idea.

Hey Ladies Thanks for all of your condolences. My aunt live a great life. We have huge family so its been good seeing everyone. My aunt was the last member left of the 1st generation. There were six generations alive in the family. Now there are 5. Ok lemme go I'm on my way to the funeral.

Megan I agree I remember when he proposed (1.1.09) we had 11 months and that felt like forever. It also feels like that was just yesterday lol. Ladies these next 6 months are gonna fly by. Erin I will try to take pics tonight. My great great aunt passed away on Sunday (she would have been 99 in June) so I've been with family all week. Her viewing is tonite and funeral tomm morning so I may not get around to it til tomm evening I apologize.

Well I see no price for my PVP on my invoice but I know she gets commission in there somewhere. For me the prices I get with my PVP are always better than if I shop around. And if I find a low price she's able to beat it. (No Carnival doesn't advertise this, but hey it worked for me in the past). Re Alcohol on the ship I find that the prices are around the same as they would be at a bar at home. My FI and I did the Rum runnners on our last cruise and had no problem. Apparently the cruise ships have gotten savvy with their detection bc apparently someone was caught with rum runners. But we're still gonna try it bc hundreds of ppl have done them with no prob at all. You usually have to be back at the ship ab an hour be4 it sails. But they will tell you over and over what time to return. If you are going to an island where they tender (such as grand cayman) I'd be back earlier bc there's always a horribly long line (unless of course you wait til the last min, lol).

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. OTC is great with returns. I needed to return an item that was $20 they just refunded me the $$ and told me to donate the items to charity. I plan to give them to my church's summer camp program. They were DIY canvas backpacks, that I was gonna use for the men's OOT bags. I thought they were for adults but turns out they were for kids. So hopefully the summer camp kids will have fun with them.

Also are any of you doing bd pics. I started looking into photographers but it would be more cost effective to maybe get a group deal. If anyone's interested lemme know. TTFN
