And I have to point out that as of today my ticker is now counting in DAYS and that has me very excited!!! It's just 26 days until we leave now and I'm trying to figure out the things that I'm missing on my to-do list! I feel like I should have a bunch but for whatever reason, I just don't - it's unnerving! Hi gals- I had a real flower (a lily) and it stood up against the wind and the night just fine. I did snip the pollen bunches out so it wouldn't stain my dress though. I didn't pay for it and just took the chance there were extra flowers around...

We don't have anything specific booked just yet so I'm trying to get this and one other day organized soon. No my friend, mine isn't up yet. I have it on my 2 do list. I just got my bro-in-laws pictures, all 350 of them so have been sifting through them. I promise....I'm on it though! If there is anything you need, let me know! Janna

Your ttd session was awesome too. Did you use the resort videographer, and if so how was the DVD? What time of day did you get married? Our ceremony is at 5 p.m. and dinner at 7. Where did you have your reception? My wedding was at 5 and dinner was at 7 above Portofino! Thanks again Dee for the inside reception tip. Me and my guests really liked the sunset time, gave me more time to get ready and them more time at the beach!

I had brought a picture but changed my mind last minute and she put my short bob into an up-do and did a fabulous job on my make-up!! Which was good b/c if she didn't, Dee was going to have to do it! I brought all my own make-up and brushes and she did such a great job. Not too worry about having a trial and paying the extra $$.

Hi all- Mrs. 2010wedding here!!! I 100% agree with Dee. Jacy was great and our day was better then I could of ever imagined and I'm a big worrier!! Jacy is lovely, the food is fantastic and overall, everything was amazing. I'll post a full review soon as well. A big love filled shout out to Dee! It was awesome to be at the resort and to get married with you there!!! Janna Ps. to the gals that were wondering about a rehearsal. We were thinking that we wanted to do a formal practice too but Jacy talks/walks you through the order of who goes when and she was great at cueing all of us on the wedding day. We had an informal "meeting" with our bridal party and guests at dinner one night and went through it then. Not too worry.

Couple of links I found for you Playa del Carmen Party Hopper Tour Party Hopper Playa Del Carmen I wanna come too! Oh ya, I have a wedding to get ready for on Friday that is ON Sat!!! Darn it.

I think part of the reason I'm so excited is because our last trip to MX (it was my first vacation) we didn't go to any bars or anything and our resort didn't have a club really for night entertainment. This will be entirely new for me and I've heard a lot of great stories from other friends. DAMN IT - WHY DO I STILL HAVE TWO MONTHS TO WAIT?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!! Hahaha.....you're too cute Echo!!! 2 months is going to fly by!!!

But the MIL told Fiance that because she had to pay for SIL & BIL 's trip she couldnt afford to give us the money. Which is fine we didnt expect it. BIL and SIL can afford to go he's just a cheap tight wad that wont allow my SIL to do anything. I mean really is it just me being touchy or was that tacky. I was really pissed off at her nerve but I let it slide because its 10 days till wedding and I dont want to rock the boat. OFFSIDE!!! If my SIL did that I'd tell her to MYOB or talk to Chris. Not her call. Mantra- 6 days, 6 days till sun, sand and booze!!!
  18. Has anyone made a welcome letter for their oot bags and if so, did you include resort info?

I think you can only have them there free if the hotel is under a certain capacity otherwise there is a fee. So weather permitting we will be having ours on the beach. yes it is close, I have been emailing the resort this morning with questions and doing dry runs on the packing lol. Finishing off my welcome letter and going to put together the OH SHIT hangover kits lol and whatnot. I love these forums and another BDW bride is getting married two days later and flys out the same time so cant wait to meet her. Shout out to Janna hehe. Its super close. I cant wait. I can't wait to meet you too Dee!!! And your honey too!!! 1 WEEK today and we leave!!!!
