    Jennifer, I think the DJ will be your best bet if you have a nice size group coming...if your group is small then the Mariachi band may suite you better. Just want to say welcome to all the new faces(Cathleen10 and Paige2010) Also Yamina finally got in touch with me a few weeks back so I was able to get her to send over all the attachments I needed.

    Bumblebee Im glad your wedding was beautiful and everything worked out with Yamina. I have two questions. Were you saying that people at EPM were topless? What was going on with the swimming policy (you can't swim after 8:30)? Oh and show us the pics

    I know that if you were having a traditional wedding (which your not because its a DW) the grooms parents are suppose to pay for the rehearsal dinner with your parents footing the wedding (ceremony and reception). I am no help with DW etiquette...sorry.

    Okay just sent an e-mail to TA so I can do the arrive Thursday leave Sunday option, I think if guest leave the following day it will really feel more like a honeymoon.

    Wow I just found this thread, and already I feel so behind. I need to find a dress ASAP so I can catch up. Well I am getting married on April 17th at Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico. My uncle will be doing our symbolic ceremony their and I hope our legal wedding when we get back (we live in different states so fingers crossed he will stick around to do both) we have no one official booked, but we have heard by word of mouth that a lot of friends and family are interested in going. We shall see...

    Fi and I are always joking and laughing...so it only makes since that our wedding band engravings lean more to our humorous side. It fits us so much better than the sappy ones.

    My uncle who is a minister in the states will be doing our symbolic ceremony in Mexico, my resort said that was fine, we plan for him to also do our legal ceremony once we get back from Mexico. Thanks ladies for the comments, I now see I have a few more questions for the resort.

    Lori, Good luck I am sooooo excited for you...hurry back with lots of info and pics. The cave restaurant sounds amazing let us know how that goes too. I will PM you my e-mail address. Another question, for those of you having Saturday weddings when are your guest arriving and leaving? Right now the package suggestion I have is arrive on Friday leave on Monday... I think I want to change it to arrive on Thursday leave on Sunday.

    Nadine, I don't think you will have anything to worry about the weather will probably be perfect not too cold or hot. It can't be worse than summer weather right? Hey ladies after you made deposits with your TAs how long did it take to hear from EPM wedding coordinator or did you make contact first. I really want to start looking at my wedding options (cake, flowers, etc...) I haven't done enough post to open the links on here yet.

    wow you ladies really have me thinking about getting a dress from this site or somewhere similar... I really want a great looking TTD and like the pp said I could probably trash 2 dresses if I went with a place like this.

    I’m glad you posted this question Fi and I just made the decision to go with a symbolic wedding and I had similar questions. Now I want to know what day would you celebrate your anniversary on the legal date or the symbolic date?

    I have recently spoken to Claudia about doing our wedding, she has my date available. Now I spend my days trying to convince my Fi that she is worth the money and that it is a sound investment. He feels her prices are to high...men.
