  1. Thank you for all the great info especially since you had a cruise wedding! I love the goodie bags for the guests flying with you... and well all of it! I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" some ideas. You have some great stuff =)
  2. I jumped on the wagon and just ordered a ton of stuff from Vista.. thanks for the reminder of how much you can get from there! =)

She said it isn't a really heavy canvas but is plenty sturdy for our oot bags and she couldn't have made them by hand for less than $0.99. Also, to answer an earlier question. I found out she ironed on Pellon, a fabric stiffener, to the back of the orange/yellow fabric she had purchased from Walmart. She also said to check around for iron-on transfers because the prices can very greatly. Thank you all and hope that helps!

She did iron-on transfers for the logo onto white cloth so that the colors came through correctly. She also ironed something onto the back of the orange/yellow cloth to make it stiffer so it would hold its shape better, but I have forgotten the name of the product. Then she sewed the white cloth with the logo onto the orange/yellow cloth. After that she had to sew the whole thing onto the bag.
  5. Hi all, My mom just sent pics of our OOT bags she is making for us and I got excited so wanted to share =) We bought the bags from cheaptotes.com for $0.99 and my mom is lovingly sewing 50 logos onto the bags for us. We got the idea from BDW's Jessalyn, so thank you! Bag with piece of paper to show where the Welcome letter will go Up close of the logo
  6. Hi everyone! We just found our Groomsmen shirts and thought I would share since they are on sale! JCPennys is having a Memorial Day sale with white Linen Shirts (Concepts by Clairborne) for sale for $19.99 only available in the store. Here is a picture of my little brother wearing the outfit (got the pants from Islandimporters)
  7. I love you OOT Bags! Congratulations! and hope you have a wonderful time!!
  8. Sorry to hear about having to postpone your initial plans...but what a great way to make the best of it! I loved all your piggy props. Congrats!!

Congrats on your wedding and cruise! We are getting married the second day of our cruise in Key West, so having the stag parties on the ship night before. My FH has the casino and all the girls are having a cocktail / "slumber" party in our suite. We are going to have some drinks and girl talk in the room and FH will spend the night with one of the groomsmen the night before the wedding. So, he gets the casino but I get the suite before the wedding. =) I should add... we also live together but have been overseas for the year before the wedding. The cruise will be the first time we have seen most of our friends and family for at least a year. We thought this allowed us to be somewhat "traditional" not spending the night together and time to catch up with friends, as well.
  10. I want to include my mom, as well, which means I have to include my step-mother, which means I have to include my future MIL!! =) So we decided to have the three mothers as part of the sand ceremony to symbolize all of the families merging. Though, I'm curious about any other ideas, too.
  11. I'm glad you asked this... I wanted to include both my father and step-father in the ceremony and wasn't sure the best way. I love my father dearly but grew up in the house with my step-father. I was planning to have both of them walk me down the aisle up until the front row where I will give my step-dad a peck on the cheek and he will have a seat, then have my dad be the one to actually "give me away". I'm curious if anyone else has any other ideas?
  12. I have been wanting to do an overhaul of my diet and exercise to generally be healthier and I think this is a great approach. Thanks for the info!
  13. I don't think this has been said enough.. wow! ;-) Thank you for sharing!!
  14. Hi!! I'm getting married in Key West Aug 4, 2009 while in port during a cruise. I agree Blue Heaven's food is awesome and I like the laid back atmosphere, but it can be a little pricey. I would recommend checking it out with your new husband if you have time during the week and try the banana heaven (my favorite!) Good Luck with your planning. ~Carla

Just curious what your ideas were. Thanks! Carla
