Thanks girls. I thought about that but just didn't want to be running around when I get there to get all this done. I rather have everything so all I have to do is put the bags together. I was worried about the advil and such but hopefully everything will be ok!

I went with Iberostar Tucan. It is very affordable for my guest and they only host one wedding a day which sold me. I didn't want to walk around with other brides...I know selfish but I think that would have been a little weird. Also, the WC at the Tucan is great. She is very helpful and response very quickly. Did anyone have issues with any first aid, hang over items? Advil, pepto bismol anything like that? I am making about 50 bags and will be putting a hangover kit together and just wanted to see if they frowned on the "drugs". Thanks!

I started with destinationwedding.com however my TA was very pushy and did not listen to me. I dropped them prior to knowing about this forum. I have a friend who is using a TA from this site and has been very happy with her. I am using a cousin as my TA. Good Luck!

Hi Girls, I haven't been on in awhile and read the post about Mayra not being at Tucan any longer. Is anyone having issues with any details of their wedding they planned with Mayra that the new WC is not aware of? This makes me nervous. Question, how do you girls plan on taking them home? My mom brought that up and I didn't have an answer..I thought just carry it on but it will still probably get shaken up.

I agree...the more notice your guests have the more likely they will attend. One of my family members (who plans a LOT of trips with groups) say it is NEVER too early to give people info...even if it changes! I took that advice and sent my out a month ago for January 2010 wedding.

This is a great thread. Things I didn't think about but I am sure people will ask. Do you girls but this on the invitation or just on your website?

I had thought about that but a friend of mine who did that said they wished they had a DJ to help out. She said everyone was playing around with it and changing it before a song would even be over. I decided to get a DJ for that reason. My friend said that she thinks a DJ will make the reception go a little smoother.

Wow! Everything sounds amazing. It is funny because my family planned a huge Italy trip for this coming May. This was planned before I got engaged. I wish it was our honeymoon because we have some amazing trips planned. Although, I think we will do a mediterranean cruise a little after our wedding. We are getting married in January so I think we'll do something in May or June of 2010.

I guess I never really thought about because I just assumed we would stay apart. Tammy, I really loved what you guys did in the morning. That sounds amazing. However, my FI really wants to play golf the day of the wedding...HA! I know where I stand..hehe! Anyway, I think we'll stay apart only because I want to feel that excitment of not seeing him all day and the first time we meet eyes is when I walk down the aisle. Plus, all my girls wanted to have a little slumber party in one of their rooms.
