I also am walking and raising money for the cure here in Denver, CO. We walk on Oct. 4th. My mom is a survivor of 5 years!! This hold this foundation very close to my heart and actively participate throughout the year! Good Luck and thanks for helping fight against this horrible disease.

I cannot imagine my dad not at my wedding. I don't know what I would do. I would definitely say something if you can.

I agree with everyone...I would just be direct. I am sure they will understand. We are having a friend of the family be our MC. I just feel it would be weird without someone organzing our reception and announcing things. My thoughts though.

LOVE this thread. My right finger is also bigger than left. What if I didn't wear it and put it in my FI pocket and then putting it on after the ceremony...woudl that be silly?

I actually just ordered my BM dresses a little over a week ago. I did some research and House of Brides is a very reliable store in Chicago. I trust that 100%. The processing takes some time however they thoroughly went through the order. I used my name however my FI credit card and they contacted me right away to fix it rather than rejecting my order. I hope to get an update on my order within the next couple days. I just could not pass up the discounts. I ended up saving over $300. I also googled coupon codes for House of Brides and found one for another $50 off. I would say do it!!!!
