  1. It seems like wooden white ones would be prettier then the chair covers I've been seeing. I'll have to email Kerry and see if I can get a picture of the chairs. Thanks for helping me with the snapfish thing.
  2. I'm thinking that they either don't keep them on property and rent them when necessary or the fee is really a set-up fee and not really a fee for the actual table/chairs. The fee is pretty small anyways---$10 a table, $3 a chair for the cover and sash. I wonder what the chairs look like without the cover?
  3. Thank you so much for the menu---the prices really aren't that much. I was expecting way worse. I pay more for food when I visit New York City. So that was a relief when I saw that menu. My guests should have no trouble finding something on that menu to eat also---it pretty much covers all the bases. I've contacted the florists based on the information on this site to get price quotes on several of their centerpieces as well as bouquets. I might not use the samples on the page but I'll get a ball park figure of what to expect price wise. The arrangements on their page are fabulous by the way---I'm excited about using them to do my flowers. I've also finally got my mind around the color scheme of our wedding. It seriously was so difficult deciding on the colors. We are doing Coral with Apple Green and Gold as the accent colors. I'm so excited! I've also found the cake I want--I think. Everything is starting to work out now.
  4. Thanks for the list. The link for the cake takes me to just register for snapfish...is there an actual website? I've never used snapfish so I dont' know how to search.
  5. I contacted them and Linus responded that they were busy and he would be in contact with me soon. Literally like 2 hours later--all of a sudden Kerry was available to talk to me! Amazing! I'll be pming you--I would love to look at the menus that were sent to you.
  6. I sent an email two weeks ago and still no reply. I resent the email with a new message attached. It's really making me uneasy--especially because I come on here and I see that no one is really getting any emails.
  7. I'm not moving anything. I'm not getting married til October--I'm sure a lot of the kinks and landscaping will be okay by then. What I am worried about is that Kerry still hasn't contacted me at all.
  8. How long did it take Kerry to contact everyone? I emailed her about 3 days ago and haven't heard anything from Kerry. I know that they are probably very busy--but I was hoping for at least an acknowledgement of the email... Oh well, it's giving me time to look around and get ideas for the wedding.
  9. I've also seen the pictures from the grand opening bride and it looks to me like they had their dances right on the patio/overhang of the restaurant. As for not being stressed out yet---I haven't really started my planning yet, that's why I'm so calm. give me a couple of months--I'll probably be pulling my hair out!
  10. I don't think it's cheap at all to do the IPOD route...I'm definitely doing the same thing...plus we are only having 16 people at the wedding---kinda pointless to have a dj for just 16 people, especially because we aren't big dancers in my family.
  11. I received an email from Kim today--my coordinator is Linus. Woohoo! I'm a bit worried about the different pricing---like you said with the dj--it doesn't match the price advertised on the website. I would definitely say something if the same thing happens to me.
  12. Oh my...you guys are making me so nervous! My Fiance just got a phone call to confirm everything and to let us know that the coordinator would be in contact with me in the next day or so....so I was thinking that they seemed pretty on top of things....but I'm a highly organized person and the stuff I'm hearing is making me nervous! Can you book without an open bar for the reception dinner and just have drinks billed directly to the guest room? Only 3 or 4 of my guests would drink anything...
  13. Finally put the deposit down and picked out the dates! We will be there from October 28th through October 31st! I keep hearing from different places that you have to be in Jamaica for either 24 hours or 48 hours before being able to get married---does anyone know what the correct one is?
  14. I'm officially booking tonight--there was some debate on the date with my family, but it finally worked out! I'm so excited to see this thread, especially with all the information that is being provided and I can't wait to share some of my information.
