Emengeeroxx... Can i ask how did you get in touch with anyone from the chapel? My sister is planning her wedding reception at the royal and wants to get married in the chapel too. The wedding coordinator at the hotel didnt have info for us on the church. Did you book the church already? Do you choose a priest from this chapel or do you have to find your own? Do any priests speak english? Sorry so many questions but thought you may be able to help us out:)

I was thinking of getting sparklers for my sisters wedding in playa del carmen... anyone know if there is anywhere to get them without having to go through the resort?

I would send them out about one month prior to leaving for Jamaica. That way you can try and have most of the rsvps back before you go and you will have less to do when you get back. My sister is doing a 2 in 1 invitation- info for both the mexico wedding and the at home reception. she is then going to have two reply cards so that pple can let her know if they plan on attending 1, both or neither. -
OMG!!! You will have a beautiful wedding!!! My fathers family is from Salerno which is more south along the coast and two summers ago DH and I visited Positano and fell in LOVE with it. We stayed in Sorrento and spent a day walking the streets and enjoying the beach of Positano. Much more beautiful than Capri in my opinion. Have you decided on anything specific yet? Good luck planning and I am sure it will turn out great!

Hey everyone! well my day has come and gone but my little sister just got engaged and is planning to get married Jan 2010 in playa del carmen. Since the web and meeting other brides while planning was so helpful for me, I thought I would come on over here and learn from you all how to help plan a DW. Over the holidays my sister made be a beautiful homemade card with a pic of us when we were little and asked me to be her maid of honor... although I think I am technically a matron of honor...LOL:) Anyways I look forward to meeting some of you online and happy planning!!!!
