Great tips BachataBride!! I'm pretty sure either my cousin or I will be doing my make-up so thanks for the input! I don't have a Sephora here either The closest one is 4 hours away. The best I can do here is Sears or a salon I guess.

I went on the RIU webiste not long ago to book my wedding date for Negril. I received an email today from them stating that they don't take bookings until March when the prices come out. This sorta makes me sad because I want to have things booked NOW - I guess I'll just have to be patient. It's hard though! lol Anyway, just thought that I would let you all know incase you were wondering.

LOVED the pics! Looks like you guys had an amazing time. Did you bring your own flower for your hair or was that something that they provided? Also, did you get your flowers from RIU? If so, did you get to pick your own colors? How does that work exactly?

Hi all! I'm not too sure if this is where I'm supposed to post this, but it does have to do with invitations. We have 2 problems and I'm hoping to get some help/ideas/info, whatever you gals can provide. Problem 1 I'm confused with the whole invitation thing. We are getting married in Jamaica but having a small wedding and not inviting everyone. We will be having a AHR a couple of months when we get back. This is where I'm confused. Do we send invites to Jamaica and to the AHR at the same time? If we don't, and people hear that we aren't inviting them to Jamaica, won't that cause problems? I'm just not too sure how to go about doing this. Any ideas?? Problem 2 FI's dad was abusive both physically and mentally to his wife and 3 children. The FI went and told his dad (whom he sees 2 times a year) that we were getting married in Jamaica. FI's mom has told us that she does not want him there (we're helping her come with us) and frankly, I don't want him there, I don't like this man. How the heck are we supposed to "uninvite" him to Jamaica? FI doesn't really think he'll come anyway, but he could if we put the invite out there. Has anybody else run into similar problems?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm not too sure how to deal with this because my family all gets along great. Thanks ladies, you're always there to help!!!!

Alright, so here's my weight loss story of the week. I actually did lost 1.6 pounds last week which I am completely happy about. You may (or may not) have noticed that I didn't change my ticker. The reason for this is simply because I haven't actually lost all the 17.4 pounds yet. I had lost it before I went for knee surgery. Then I had ohhh about 6 really bad weeks after surgery and over christmas where I didn't care/pay attention to my eating. So when I went to weight-in 2 weeks ago, I actually had gained 7 pounds of the 17 that I had lost. I left my ticker at that weight for inspiration. I'm not changing it until I've lost that weight again. I AM NOT GIVING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I'll have good news again this week. Wishing you both a great week also. Lisa

Hi all. I'm seeing all kinds of things about this Vista Print thing. I checked it out...I don't really understand. Do you just go to the website or is there a program to download? I don't get it....HELP!!!
