It's made to not come off through sweat, humidity or tears and when you remove it (with warm water - no eye make remover needed!!) they actually come off in little caps. It's the best and makes such a difference, I swear by it!! Anyone have some other good mascara suggestions so you don't need fake eyelashes if you use the clinique mascara?
  2. these are some good ideas ladies. I was wondering about this myself.
  3. hahah Danielle, no one is ever alone in this forum, there's always someone going through the same thing you are!

  9. ohhh that sounds good too Kathy! I guess I'll have to try that too. So happy to hear about the weight loss for this week so far, that's so great!
  10. So I've posted this in my diet thread but I thought that I would share it here too! I've lost some weight and really didnt' think that I was looking any different until I went bra shopping last night. I bought bras that were 2 sizes smaller and luckily, the cup size stayed the same! I was so freakin' excited about this! So I get home later, looking through the closet for a pair of pants when I come across this pair of jeans that I hadn't worn in forever because they were too tight. So I get them on, just for the heck of it and they fit like a glove!!!!!!! I was jumping for joy last night. That just made my day and I thought that I would share a nice story for once instead of me bitching! lol
  11. So I've been following this diet since August and sorta slacked off but still managed to lose some weight. Anyway, I didn't really think that I had lost all that much, or that it made a difference in my clothes BUT yesterday, I went to buy new bras and they were 2 sizes smaller, WOO HOO!!! Luckily, I have still kept the same cup size! lol I was so super excited when I got home, and frankly, I still am excited. So after the bra thing, I get home and try looking for this pair of pants and I find these jeans. I hadn't worn them in forever. So I decide to try them on too, and BOOM, they fit like a glove. YEAH again!! Needless to say, it was a happy night last night! lol BTW, it's damned hard lately to follow this. There is food everywhere I go, especially at work *sigh*. I'm doing ok this week, but struggling really hard.

  13. Kelly and Ashley - you both look amazing in your dresses!!!! I had a mini-breakdown the other night, crying because I was going to be a fat bride. UGH! BUT, this is who I am right now and I just have to accept it. I am so looking forward to this wedding. It's only 6 weeks away now, so it's not like I can lose 100 lbs by then! lol We are ALL beautiful women, no matter what we weight or what our size is!!
  14. I'll post a pic of the cups whenever the heck I get them!

I am Italian and I love carbs and I love cheese so I don't know how I will do on my low carb and low GI days. I think some planning is needed and I will try and start next week. Do any of you really struggle with the low carb? Thanks! Heather Heather - I honestly don't struggle with the low carb days. I eat salads and lots of veggies with my protein. It's not that hard really. Check out this form that I created to help me out. You just start filing in the blanks and next thing you know, you got your day/week planned out. It's quite easy actually. cywt.doc
  16. Meg - I ordered my cups from Factory 21 on Ebay. I haven't received them yet, I'm hoping to this week! Aimee - great job on getting more stuff done, woo hoo!!! So yesterday I got my hair/make-up appointment booked and we're meeting with someone on Friday for our AHR. We also decided on the picture package and TTD session (which we're not doing).

I am SO doing that! Thanks so much Jaime!!!!
  18. this sorta sounds painful but I think it would work wonders!
  19. I saw that this morning, congrats again girl, so awesome!!!
  20. Amy - lol at the story. Not that it was funny about the neckbone, but it's funny how people handle things! love, love, love your idea about the crustless quiche. I quiche. I am so stealing that recipe tonight! Thanks for the input, great idea!

  22. I do the egg thing too Kathy - UGH! I do hard-boiled because I can cook them up for the week and it makes a fast breakfast. I usually eat the egg with cheese and tomatoes (or cucumber) on the low-carb day and yogurt (instead of veggies) on the low gi/gl days. I only do this on the days where I work. For the other days, I usually eat my eggs in another way, either scrambeled (sp?) or fried, depending on the day.
  23. Yeah, I didn't even think of Vistaprint. We ordered our RSVP cards from them using the flat card. Great idea, thanks Carly! AHR is going to be pretty casual. We'll still rent a hall and dj and stuff, but it won't be over the top as we really can't afford that.
  24. lol Amy, I stuffing!! So cheating with that was GREAT for me! I'm glad that you're doing well. Keep it up girl!!
  25. We've now decided to have an AHR. Our wedding is 7 weeks away now, so we're getting there! My questions is about invitations. We sent out more formal invitations for the wedding, without mention of an AHR because we weren't sure. We want to go really simple for this now, so, do you think that it's acceptable if we send out invitations more like a flyer type-thing? Or is it just tacky or corny? We don't really want to spend any more money on invites. UGH, I hate all this etiquette/tradition stuff!! Thanks ladies!
