I told her that I didnt like Juan and was not going to use him. she said it was fine and gave me a credit of like 350 bucks and basically I put that money towards paying for 2 hours of renting the sound system for the ceremony so I only have to pay 1 hour of the 3. I also told her that I hired an outside photographer and she said that was fine and that they wouldnt be charged for a day pass if they came 1 hour before the ceremony. You should TOTALLY hire another photographer if you dont like Juan. its your wedding!!!! you should be totally happy with the person who is goin to take pictures that you will be looking at for the rest of your life!!!! hope that helps! sunita

thanks jill i have another question for you now, lol how do you book the honeymoon suite and how much does it cost a night?? i went to a travel agent and have looked at various websites and their packages and have never seen the jacuzzi junior suite or the honeymoon suite as one of the room options. they either list a garden/dolphin and/or ocean view room in the pyramid or an ocean view room in the club tower. i want to get a suite in the tower for the extra room but havent seen the room rates for this or the honeymoon suite advertised anywhere. happy new year girls I got the Dreams of Love package and Gaby told me I could choose any 3 hot and 3 cold appetizers from the silver OR gold. I also changed my silver dinner menu included with Dreams of Love to a Gold Menu and this wasnt a problem. I dont know if this question was answered yet, but has anyone heard if we can negotiate the cockail hour for more people at the reception and if so, how many extra people does it cover? Im getting married in jan 2010 and everyone we invited (around 45) has said they are coming, and even though they all probably wont, it would be nice to know how many ppl we can cover with cockail hour just in case, lol. also, has anyone here used De Sol photograhy for their wedding? think we are going to go with them.. thanks everyone sunita

Hi everyone Im new to the forum- so glad i found it, as so many of my questions have been answered! Ive decided to get married at the Dreams Cancun in Jan 2010. Im in the middle of finishing my contract with Gaby. Ive been dealing with Gaby for the last couple months and she has been really good at getting back at me, even though im not getting married for over a year. Havent heard of Claudia, but Gaby is good. Just have some questions for past brides. One- what are your guys thoughts on the best room to stay? Deciding between the ocean and dolphin view in the pyramid building, the junior jacuzzi suite, and the ocean view in the club tower? is the club tower worth staying at because of the private beach and pool? also, have been looking at photographers and really like Diego from Sol photography. Hi! just found this website yesterday. Already loving it! I am 26 years old, live in Edmonton, work in health care and got engaged in august! Have been researching resorts in Mexico for the last 2 months and have made up my mind- I want to get married at the Dreams Resort in Cancun in january 2010! In the process of wedding planning with Gabby at the resort. Love all the posts on the site about Dreams and other brides experiences. Going to read lots more and hopefully get lots more advice.
