  1. Thanks destination_bride!! I'm not sure what I want to do now! I love the idea of the additional decor. But I also want my dress pressed, my hair, makeup, the mariachi band, and massages!! Very torn right now...
  2. Let's see... 3. Hi October Brides!!! Can you believe we have about 6 months to go?!! How's everyone's planning going?
  4. kayak.com will compare some of the discount sites for you. i used it for aventura spa palace and saved $18 a night. (it's not a huge amount but every bit counts, right?)

I'm a little annoyed by this, especially because I can't find the description of my current package now to compare. I want nice colors and fireworks!!

Thanks for the info!! It's definitely true. Starting in April kids will be allowed on one half of the resort. I'm glad this helps you out!
  7. Yeah that's exactly like him. I used to live like 5 minutes from his house, so even if he annoyed me it was just convenient to hang out there.
  8. A friend of mine is friends with Bam Margera and that whole crew so I've spent some time over Bam's house for parties and little get togethers. He's pretty cocky and not very interesting though. Other than that, I met Taylor Momson (Jenny from Gossip Girl/Little girl from the grinch) at a concert, Marilyn Manson, and a bunch of horror movies stars you probably haven't heard of (The cast of the Saw movies, the original Chain Saw Massacre, Clock Work Orange, Freddy Krueger, and others) I'm a dorky horror movie fan.
  9. Iceapple -- I'm interested in what your guests will do while you do your photos. We have our wedding at 2 and dinner at 5... so there's about 2 hours in between that I'm not positive what's going to happen.
  10. April 11th is my boudoir shoot so I will be in the city. Would it be a lunch or dinner thing?
  11. Hi Alysa! I am an Aventura bride in October 2009! The splitting of the resort doesn't affect much. If you have children with you, you have to be married at the South gazebo. And if you only have adults you can be married at either gazebo. So basically, for location at least, your choice is made for you if you have children with you. As for room prices, for a double occupancy in our group rate its $366 a night. I don't know how much rooms with children are since we aren't having any children come with us. If you have any questions, let me know! I probably have asked them all already anyway.
  12. That's a good idea. KOP is much easier to get to then the city, at least for me. And plenty of restaurants. Bahama Breeze, Cheesecake Factory, etc...
  13. We checked him out when we were first looking for photographers! His work is beautiful and he's extremely responsive. Unfortunately, he was a bit out of our price range. Congrats on booking your photographer! Your pictures will be BEAUTIFUL!
  14. I'm in business banking for Citizens bank. I also do book keeping and paper work for my fiancee's design advertising business.
  15. We could do maybe a Saturday lunch in center city?? Or a happy hour thing on a friday evening? How many people do we have interested?
  16. Ah it wont fit. I just found a JM dress of mine and it's the wrong size.
  17. I love that little cocktail dress. What size is it comparable to? What size are you usually?
  18. Here's my e-ring. I'm not sure what I'm doing for a band yet. The picture doesn't even give it justice. I love it soo much!!
  19. You girls are the BEST BEST BEST. Thank you so much Quote: Originally Posted by Nic Dragomire its perfect... and its going to photograph really well too! THAT is what I love to hear. The photos were one of the most important parts of the wedding to me!!

Just like you - I said the color and they're picking them out. My girls are all different shapes and sizes, there's no way they will all look good in the same dress.
  21. Thank you so much girls!!! Quote: Originally Posted by lgarner83 It's so beautiful!!! Why on earth did you think that you wouldn't like it? I think it's perfect!
