We have 50 people going down with us. We are in the Callabria (or something like that) room at Maggianos. Cassy was very accomodating and great with answering all my questions!! I did bug her with a lot of questions and she was great. I will post in a few weeks and let you know how the food and service was!

Canadianheather, we are getting our tuxes from Men's warehouse. They were great to deal with and since we got 4 tuxes the grooms was free. It was great too cuz our guys just went to Moore's to get measured and then we sent the measurements down to them!

Hi April 2010, I am having my reception at Maggianos on Sept 5th! Cassy was great to deal with there. How many people do you have going down? I can repond here again after my wedding and let you know how everything went at Maggianos!!

Haha I read it as don't look fake! Yah I am just sending those pics to our wedding coordinator at Caesars and she is going to get my bouquet made out of real flowers to match the fake ones!!

Oh no, the pics are huge......I'm not sure what to do to change that. If anyone knows can you let me know!!

Sorry Heather, I didn't get on here this past weekend. I will try and post the pics of my flowers tonight! I have told our wedding coordinator about the silk flowers and she didn't mention having to pay anything extra! I hope I don't have to pay to bring them in. I'm not going to ship them down to Vegas, I am going to pack them in shoe boxes and get people to put them in their luggage. I will have a few days to straighten them out if they get bent a little bit!! I am so jealous that you got Joe's! That's where we wanted to have our reception but they were booked on our date! Oh well, I am sure we will have a good time! Did you have to book a table at the piano bar in New York New York? I am looking into doing something after our reception and wasn't sure what! Another question, I am thinking of having a dinner the night before the wedding for any of our guests who are there and don't have plans. Any ideas of where i could have it?? Also someone we talked to at Caesars told us that there is an outdoor bar at like harrahs? Anyone know the name of this place? I can't seem to find it on google!!

Hmm, I can't remember why I didn't look into Glamsquad702. I think I heard that they were too expensive but that doesn't look like the case! The makeup we are getting is airbursh and they do our hair as well for $150 (Just checked my emails from her!) The other places I checked in the hotels around us were just charging too much so I wanted someone to come to us. I think $150 is a pretty fair price considering MAC at fashion show mall charges $50 and hair anywhere else would be at least $100. I like the idea of being able to hang out in our room while we get it done though!!

I booked storybook brides to do our makeup and hair in the hotel room and they are only charging 150 or 160 per person (can't remember the exact price) for both. It was the best price I found to have them come to the hotel room!

I haven't used them but I heard they were more expensive then others. I ended up booking with storybook brides and their prices weren't that bad. I would interested in hearing how the airbrush make up holds up as well. I am getting airbrush makeup for my wedding in September.

Foxy Bride - Our date is September 5th. So close yet still seems far away!! I just wanted Gerber Daisies for my bouquets and Caesars quoted me right around 600 for 4 BM bouquets and my own. I was shocked so I searched around to find fake ones!! I just couldn't justify spending that much money on something that will just get thrown out. Canadianheather - I actually used budgetbride.com for my fake flowers. They were awesome and the bouquets turned out really nice! I just got the 5 flower one in Gerbers done. They were really quick with getting them to me too. I can take some pics tonight and try to post them tomorrow if you would like. When is your wedding date? Are you getting married in the gardens at Caesars? ARe you having a reception? Sorry about all the questions!!!

Hi Ladies, Its been a really long time since I have been on here!! I thought I would just give an update on how things are going for me! I have almost everything booked. We are having an afternoon ceremony at Caesars in the Venus gardens, then going for photos along the strip, then our reception is at Maggianos in Fashion Show Mall. So far we have 56 people going down to Vegas with us. We are waiting to hear from 2 more people. I have my dress going in for alterations in two weeks and I just need to send pics to our wedding coordinator so she can get a bouquet made for me. I got my bridesmaids fake bouquets because Caesars was way too pricey for what I wanted. There is less then 3 months till our wedding and I am beyond excited!!! I can't wait to get back to Vegas again!! Hope the planning is going really well for everyone else!!!

Can anyone recommend a photographer in Vegas? We are looking for someone to take pics of us and the wedding party along the strip and at the Vegas sign. Just wondering what others are doing.....are you using the photographer that comes with the ceremony package and just extending the time or are you getting another one? Thanks!!

Hi! I am also getting married in Las Vegas in September. Not on the 9th though. We chose the 5th! We are getting married in the Venus Gardens at Caesars Palace and then having our reception at Maggianos. We checked out the Gigi room at Joes and totally fell in love with it but it was booked for our day! The room at Maggianos is really nice too but just holds less people. So far my planning has been so easy. Everyone who I have dealt with has been amazing and incredibly helpful! I am so happy we chose to have a destination wedding and not get married at home. It has been way less work and way less stress so far!!

I think I am going to book with Storybook brides as well. I have 5 people that need hair and makeup done and Storybook brides website had more info and pics so I could see what they have done before. Caesars palace was just way too expensive to get hair and makeup done in their salon. Thanks so much for posting the websites on here!! I had been searching the internet and couldn't find anything. I don't think I was googling the right thing!!!

Thanks so much for your responses. I am getting married at Caesars palace and the place in there is a bit too expensive for me. These places are much more reasonable!!

Does anyone know of anyone who will come to my hotel room to do hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids? If there isn't something like this, do any locals know of any salons that aren't in the hotels that will do hair and makeup? Thanks!!!

The people at Caesars palace were awesome to deal with and the garden is very pretty and quite private. I haven't seen the flamingo so I can't comment on their locations.

Well our guest list is around 100 people but there are a bunch of people on there that we know won't come so that probably brings it down to about 80 people. Should I book a place for that many people? I really can't see that many people travelling for our wedding. I am going down to Las Vegas next week and have been talking to one place about booking a reception. I will ask them what they think. I just don't want to book a big place and then not have that many people. It would mean I would lose out on my deposit and then have to find another place to have the dinner/reception once I know how many people are going. I haven't sent out STD's because all our family knows when the wedding is and we have told the majority of our friends that we are inviting. Just thought it would save some money by not sending them out.

I am having my wedding in Vegas on Sept 5, 2009 and I have a question about when to book the reception place. I can't really book it until I know how many people are going to be there. Should I send my invites out in January and ask for them to be back by the beginning of march or is that not enough time? Do they need to be back before then? Sorry if this question has been asked before. I looked at the threads in here and didn't find anything on it. If there is, can you please let me know! Thanks
