I've been trying to do something every day. I was sick for 5 days last week (some weird GI bug) and lost 1 lb. I've been trying to run again despite my knee injury and discovered that if I run past the pain, the pain goes away after about 4 minutes, so it may just be my knee warming up. So I've ran 30 minutes on the treadmill for the last 2 days. I also did circuit training with my personal trainer last night and he upped my routine to be even more killer. Didn't know that was possible! But given that it burns 400-600 calories (not counting the 30 minute run I do beforehand), it's totally worth it! Only 8 lbs to go until my goal is reached, and 80 days to go before the wedding... I feel that a gradual weight loss is probably best as I do plan on keeping it off after the wedding :-)

Congrats!!! I'm in Whitby too :-)

I was supposed to do my free weights routine last night but ended up coming home late from dinner with a friend (during which I evidently royally cheated on my diet). I ran a bit on the treadmill instead: made it to 20 minutes (1.75 miles) before my knee started acting up, and then speed walked to 2 miles... Tonight, power yoga!!!

I ran almost 3 miles yesterday! Weird, as I've had knee surgery in 2007 and have been unable to run for more than 15 minutes since 2006... No complaints though, just wondering why all of a sudden my knee is cooperating. I may pay for this later though! Tonight I plan on doing my free weights routine, takes me about 40 minutes.

Haven't done anything since Wednesday since Thursday went over to dinner at friends' house and Friday, did our gift registery at the Bay and cheated by eating fish and chips :-( Will do my free weights routine now, which I love (highly unsual for me, I usually hate free weights stuff but I have an amazing personal trainer). Keep it up everyone, this thread really helps to keep me motivated!!!

lolkitteh I have the same problem RE: slow to respond... I've been excercising regularly for 8 years, so now the only way to boost the weight loss is through diet. I don't like giving up my good food, nor my wine!!! Last night I did my free weights routine (timed it, only takes about 40 minutes) and 1.25 hours of hatha yoga. Tonight we are going to dinner at friends house, so I'll be cheating on my diet :-(

Did 1 hour of intermediate yoga DVD (Rodney Yee) yesterday. My dad is visiting so hopefully tonight I'll find time to do something...

Congratulations, your story is both moving and romantic! I wish you the best of luck with everything!!! -
Yesterday I walked 30 minutes at 8% incline on the treadmill (can't run due to knee injury...). Today I did my personal trainer's level 2 weights routine. really feeling it, I had done it Thursday night too! Posted a new thread (not sure how to link it to this message...), looking for a work-out buddy who has similar goals as me. I'm 5'2" and want to lose another 10 lbs before June 29th. If anyone out there has similar goals, please PM me!!!

I did my weight routine, level 2, just assigned by my personal trainer last week. Wow, it is harder than level 1, that's for sure! I might be in pain tomorrow.

Did 1 hour and 15 minutes of hatha yoga last night. I was so sore on Monday after my yoga retreat and developped a cold that forced me to rest Monday and Tuesday. Now I'm getting back into my routine!

Personal trainer came over last night, hadn't seen him since December! He changed my weight routine since my weight loss had plateaued. I think I'll really be in pain tomorrow!!!

Last night I did 1.25 hours of hathat yoga. Tonight, personal trainer coming over. Shoulder is still slightly injured but doing a bit better... I have a yoga retreat this weekend during which time we'll apparently be doing 12 hours of yoga, yikes!!!

Rebecca&George (can't find the post anymore so I can't quote): Yay, another June 29th couple! We had heard that there are 3 weddings that day, including ours :-) For the reception location: even if you've submitted a request, the location is not confirmed until 1 month prior to the wedding. Only the location of the ceremony can be confirmed so far in advance. I was told it tended to be based on the timing of the weddings as much as possible. We'll see! Are you having problems with being told the resort is fully booked up? We were unable to get 10 gardenview rooms because it will be so full, apparently. So we reserved 5 gardenview, 4 oceanview and 1 oceanfront. Didn't expect it to be so busy in June!!!

Just finished my personal trainer routine again, for a second day in a row. I have a session with him this Thursday so need to show him I can easily do the current weights! Shoulder is still hurting, but improving...

I did my personal trainer's work-out yesterday. My shoulder is still a bit stiff but the 6 days off sure helped as I was able to do the shoulder weight exercises and the push-ups. I have now booked a BD session for April 26th so the extra motivation is in!

Last Sunday was the last time I exercised. I think I injured my shoulder last week by doing push-ups somehow... I'm giving myself 1 week to heal and cross my fingers that I'll be back on track by next Monday :-(

I wanted a half up, half down 'do, but I'm not sure my hair will be long enough to pull it off... That being said, it may not even be long enough for an updo either :-(. It's barely touching my shoulders now, and the wedding is in 4 months. I have NO clue what to do with it! Oh, and to make matters worse, it's naturally wavy/curly so I'm worried that the heat and humidity will just make it go wild!

We're getting married June 29th, 2009. Our Save the Dates are going out on Monday, February 23rd, 2009. A bit later than originally planned, but we ran into issues with the first resort we had booked at and had to change, so in retrospect I'm glad we didn't rush the Save the Dates until everything was settled. We are only inviting 80 people, and most of these individuals are aware it is happening, so I don't think it's rude. We are for sure doing an at-home party about 1 month after the wedding, for those who can't join us in Mexico.
