  1. Weather in January is probably better since November is the end of the hurricane season. However, you are more likely to find cheaper airfare/hotel for November because it is low season.
  2. Jogged 4.5 miles on the treadmill before appointment with the tailor.
  3. This show used to come on WEtv but now have moved to Fine Living. I find a lot of motivation watching the episodes and it is pretty entertaining too. Check out the TV schedule if you are interested from this link: Bulging Brides: Dream Team Trainers Whip Brides Into Shape Before Their Wedding Days.
  4. Very cute! You did great! I have a friend who spent $10 per invitation and they sent out at least 200 of them. Ouch... and I believe the invitation actually ended up in our recycling bin after the reception.
  5. Besides "Mermaid" style, you can also consider dresses that has the "Trumpet" silhouette. The true "Mermaid" style dress actually makes it very hard to move around in or sitting down. That's one big factor to consider. You want to feel sexy/fabulous and yet comfortable.
  6. Just got back from hitting weights on my upper body. Abs is my weakest link and planning to crank up the cardio to burn fat. There is a stubborn layer of fat that doesn't seem to go away no matter what.
  7. Alcohol is definitely evil too and it doesn't matter if it is cocktail, red/white wine or beer!
  8. Congratulations!!! This forum is a great resource for planning your destination wedding. I constantly find new ideas and information.
  9. I jogged 6.5 miles before going into work after the ice on the roads melted. We bought a treadmill on January 1st, 2009 for home use and we have been trying to be good. To be quite honest, I don't enjoy running but it is the best cardio exercise to burn fat.
  10. Do you mind sharing more information on the reception menu?

  15. It is a destination wedding and the "tradition" about bustling up your dress for the reception does NOT apply. It looks good the way you want it.
  16. Check this thread out on photographers. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t35088
  17. Congratulations!!! A lot of bridal salons are having sample sale right now. Also, the bridal department at Saks 5th Avenue is closing down (except for a handful of locations) and all the dresses are on sale. Happy dress hunting!
  18. Good book on Destination Wedding Planning - The Knot Guide to Destination Weddings by Carley Roney (Author), Joann Gregoli (Author) Enjoy and hope this helps!
  19. The sun can be a bit too bright for wedding photography but your photographer maybe able to work around that. Just a thought.
  20. Database is probably running out of space. Pictures uploaded to the web site can take up space quickly. Keeping graphics/pictures on the threads/blogs to a minimum will be the best thing to do.
  21. 1. It will be nicer to match your flower in your hair with the bouquet but it is all personal preference. You can try it out at home and take pictures to see what you like best. 2. Again, not everything has to match. Variety can spice things up in fact.
