  1. You go girl!!! Keep it up!!! Are you going to reward yourself on the accomplishment?
  2. I jogged 6.5 miles to knock off some calories from pigging out all day on Valentine's Day.
  3. Awesome!!! That's very good progress! Quote: Originally Posted by *Heather* Ran my 7K this morning, and shaved 2 mins off my time from last week. I'm happy with that! It was nice and sunny out but still chilly.

  5. Oh... the bad cop.. What is he going to do? Does he have the special pink handcuffs? Quote: Originally Posted by Royal_lady10 LOL.. not too bad.. but I swear he is like the police, he be on me.. threatend to charge me this morning..lol.
  6. MarieSam, did you sign up on EBATES.com before hitting "BUY NOW" to get 3% cash back from Nordstrom? You could have saved $12!
  7. MarieSam, who is this shoe designer that is making everyone drool over his/her creation?
  8. We probably won't have a wedding party since we don't want to make anyone feel "obligated" or "pressured" into coming to the wedding especially with a bad economy. Quite a few guests have showed interests and said they would make plans to attend but we won't know until the invitations are sent out and RSVPs start coming in.
  9. Just think these shoes are rewards to all your fabulous DIY projects for the wedding and you put the savings to finish out the entire wedding day look. I would love to see pictures of you with the shoes on and your dress. Don't forget to strike a pose that says "I'm WORTH IT!"
  10. Jogged 3.9 miles this morning and went to "Body Pump" at lunch. Planning to jog again tomorrow morning. My goal is to drop 1 lb by end of February.
  11. Love orange!!! It is such a happy color! Fiance likes the color too! Planning to use a combination of orange/green/purple.
  12. $300 is way too much for simply doing a French bustle. I got a $400 quote that includes a major makeover on my dress plus the French bustle. Tylersgirl, send me a message if you are looking for a good tailor.

  14. When I talked to the ladies at the Turquoise Reef Group in Summer 2008, they said weddings weren't being booked beyond Spring 2009. When we were visiting Shangri-La Caribe in December 2009, we were told by the staff at the front desk that there were no plans to shut down and there have been rumors in the past few years about that. Mexico Beach Resorts and Hotel Reservations - the Turquoise Reef Group The best thing is to contact them again to confirm one way or another.
  15. You can check out the Vitamin Advisor on Dr. Weil's web site to see what you need. You can get most of the vitamins from COSTCO/SAM's/Wal-Mart/Target. https://www.drweil.com/vitamin_advis...param=VArosnav

  17. Went to steps aerobics at lunch and bikram yoga after work. Definitely sweated a lot today.
  18. Post your pictures if you do get them done. Would love to see them.

I am not a big fan of diets but I tried South Beach (Phase 1) and it worked! Cutting back on carbohydrates and sugar is definitely a great eating habit.
  20. Went to yoga at lunch and did strength training on upper body after work.
  21. Went to "Total Body Blast" class at the gym during lunch today and had a good sweat going. Planning to jog, go to yoga class at lunch and maybe hit some weights after work.
  22. Jogged 5.9 miles today and overall I did pretty good this week. Hoping to see progress by end of February. All ladies, ready for another week of exercising? No matter where you are at, keep pushing!
  23. I am on the fence about hiring someone versus doing it myself. The products they use are probably good but I am more comfortable using my own. Just need to take a crash course and practice before the big day.
  24. Sure thing! I like sharing information from our scouting trip back in December 2008. If I had found this site few months beforehand, I would have planned things out better to check out more places/options. There is one more place I forgot to mention. Very good italian food a block or two away from fifth avenue and the setting is very casual. This will be a great place to go with a small group in flip flops and shorts after laying on the beach for a few hours. Da Gigi along Av. 25. Cardiovascular exercise and weight training will be the best bet. Also try South Beach Diet to cut down the carbs and sugar. Aim for this each week: Two - Three 45-minute cardio sessions Two - Three weight training sessions Along with South Beach, you should see some results.
