  1. Worked chest muscles before the 30-minute Step Aerobics class today and finished off with 15-minute ABS. Not able to get up early this morning because the nasty storm kept us up in the middle of the night. Will try again tomorrow morning.
  2. Sandra, it is a very pretty and unique dress. If you KNOW that's THE DRESS, go for it. Here are your options: 1. Send the seller of the used dress and see if she can provide more details/pictures. 2. If you prefer to have a new one, check with the salons to see if they have any upcoming trunk shows that offer a 10% - 15% discount. 3. Contact the salons to see if they are willing to sell you a sample at 40% discount. Hope this helps! I know the feeling of really wanting the one you are in love with.
  3. Had to make up for drinking too much and pigging out over Memorial Day weekend. The thought of working out did not cross my mind. So today I had a 50-minute cardiovascular session using the Jillian Michaels "Banish Fat and Boost Metabolism" DVD and hit heavier weights on shoulders afterwards. Of course I browsed through a few magazines in between reps.
  4. Chantal, I will try to join you tomorrow morning in Texas if I go to bed at a decent time tonight. Quote: Originally Posted by Chanti Ran 2 miles this morning before work. 5. Welcome and congratulations on the upcoming wedding and baby girl!!! Quote: Originally Posted by Summer&Nicholas So glad to have found this thread! My dress is ordered...Should be here in a couple of weeks! 2. Invitations were sent out last week - sent early because we didn't do save the dates 3. AHR venue is booked for July 17 2010 -Still need to book caterer though 4. TA is taking care of all our bookings 5. We had our legal ceremony on May 8. We did it early because I still have to apply for my passport and we figured we might as well do it now so that I don't have to reapply/pay again right after. We're also expecting a baby girl on June 15 and it was hard for his parents that we weren't married..So now they're happy we're married before baby is born!!! 6. We have our guest book. We ordered from the guest book store. Welcome to the Guestbook Store! Wedding Guestbooks! we'll place these on the reception tables with colourful markers. Still seems like I have so much to do! I know what I want for flowers, and plan on doing them myself. We're waiting to hear about what the resort offers for decorations/center pieces. Although, it won't be anything too fancy. And I plan on starting to look for a dress for our daughter soon after she's born..Would love to start now, but I spend most days with my feet up!! Happy Planning Everyone!!!
  6. Update on the fraudulent charge - American Express has reversed the charges and life is good now. 7. Can't beat $100 for a fabulous dress that retails for over $1800. In fact, that's my favorite dress from her collection Do you have pictures of you in it? 8. Hi Sandra, This thread maybe helpful to you. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t33866
  9. Jogged/walked 3.5 miles today before meeting friends for dinner tonight.
  10. It looks perfect on you!!! Great choice and congratulations!!! Quote: Originally Posted by NicoRuskies I finally had my appointment to try on some Maggie dresses and I think I FOUND THE ONE!!! As soon as I tried it on, I fell in love...a sexy, classy, modern, dress. What I love about it is that it is not something that everyone will expect me to pick, so it will have a huge WOW factor when I walk down the beach Here are some pictures...the place I am ordering my dress from lets you take as many pictures as you want, in any dress (first bridal place I have heard that does this). Hope this works...my first try at posting pics and I just made a photobucket account.
  11. Apparently the $1 flip-flop sale is an annual event but I had no idea it is so popular.
  12. Most people tend to be procrastinators when it comes to RSVP for parties/weddings. There is still time and I know it may come across as "rude" when guests make other plans around the same time your wedding takes place. Enjoy the friends/family that are there for you on your big day. My approach with destination wedding is "can't make people come but we make sure those who attend have a good time".
  13. All the $1 women's flip-flops were sold out four hours before we went in late afternoon. Oh well... my fiance said that it is probably not necessary to get the flip-flops since guests know it is a beach wedding and either would bring their own or go barefoot. He is probably right.
  14. Worked shoulders and triceps followed by a 50-minute cardio session with Jillian Michaels - Banish Fat Boost Metabolism DVD. I am going to have steak for dinner.
  15. Great choice! You are going to be smoking hot FoxyBride!
  16. Went to "Total Body Pump" at lunch today. The biceps track was hard but I did finish.
  17. Went to Step Aerobics at lunch and had a good workout.
  18. That's called "PROGRESS"! Good job Danielle! Quote: Originally Posted by ddiinnyyeell I've been doing alright with the gym but not seeing much progress. Except for the fact when I sneeze or laugh my abs hurt and I can't life my arms.

  21. Congratulations!!! Bet you are excited!!! DIY invitations can take up quite a bit of time depending on how picky you are, so start early. A few beer always helps too!
