  1. You are definitely not alone Michelle! Apparently social etiquette is out the window these days and there is NO excuse in this modern day society. I am dealing with similar RSVP frustration where guests simply don't respond after reminders were sent. It is definitely very disappointing and frustrating. All the work we as brides put into planning our weddings and it is not too much to ask for a response. RSVP "NO" is way better than "NO RESPONSE".
  2. You go girl!!! Good job on the invitations Autumn! Looks like we have the same wedding color scheme.
  3. Oh my... That's a lot to deal with at the same time. Sorry about the change in plans. But in the end you & your fiance will look back and be glad you did it! Enjoy Mexico in January 2010!
  4. Wow... You definitely don't need more stress being this close to your wedding. Take any upgrades/freebies RIU offers and make the BEST out of the situation!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
  5. Blue Parrot was on my site visit list and we walked by it quite a few times. But we decided on a different venue before meeting with the wedding coordinator. She was very responsive to my emails and sent me pictures and information. Have you contacted her? 6. Congratulations!!! You deserve a treat!!! Quote: Originally Posted by SSNM Today was my fitness competition where I competed in the figure category and I came 2nd!! 7. We didn't eat at Playasia during our site visit in December 2008 but the restaurant itself looks pretty cool. Will an Asian Fusion menu work for your guests?
  8. You can still have an updo. Check out this hairstylist's (Doranna) web page. Doranna Hair Stylist - Freelance Italian Hair Stylist - Playa del Carmen - Riviera Maya - Cancun
  9. Jogged 2.3 miles this morning. Starting a new workout routine next week and I better be ready for the 6 a.m. boot camp Tue/Thur/Fri.
  10. I am planning to pick up about 30 maracas after we check into the hotel in Playa del Carmen and put the tags/ribbons on. It should not take that long. Maybe if I brought the ribbon and pre-made tags for "shake for a kiss" my BM can help me attach when we get to MX.
  11. You may want to contact bride "spatzle" about Yazmin. She mentioned she has been working with her in a different thread and that Yazmin is great! We meet with her husband and her assistant in December 2008 for consultation in Playa del Carmen. They came prepared and meeting was very informative. Compared to other wedding coordinators we have talked to, we thought her husband was upfront and flexible. Though we decided to go another route for our wedding, I will definitely recommend contacting Yazmin.
  12. We were in Playa del Carmen for 8 days back in December 2008. There were several souvenir shops along 5th Avenue that sells maracas in various colors (green/white/yellow/red/blue/orange/purple) and it was $1 a piece. The maracas also has "Playa del Carmen, Mexico" painted on them too.
  13. Had a great workout using Jillian Michaels "No More Trouble Zones" DVD late afternoon. I will miss "Total Body Pump" at noon on Thursday for the next two months because of schedule conflict.
  14. Absolutely beautiful!!! Love your dress!!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing!!!
  15. Amazing pictures!!! Wish I had beautiful hair like yours!!!
  16. Started off with eight 30-second sprints on the treadmill followed by 30-minute step aerobics and 15-minute ABS. My energy level is lower than usual today and it is probably weather-related.
  17. I have tried spin classes before and it was a great workout. But my biggest trouble is not having any visual entertainment to keep me interested for 45 minutes on a stationary bike. Eventually I dropped out. 18. High 5 Anita!!! That's awesome!!! Keep it up!!!
  19. Went to "Total Body Blast" at lunch yesterday and warmed up with 10 30-second sprints on the treadmill before class.
  20. Jillian, I am bringing my work out gear and buy a few day passes from the gym close to the hotel we are staying at in Playa del Carmen. I will definitely be more relaxed if I can work out in the morning, especially on my big day! I don't know about you girls, but I'm actually planning on bringing my running shoes to my resort and using their gym in the mornings while I'm there!
