I actually went through the same dilemma but in the end I am very glad I wore a pair of flat sandals from JCrew that has a lot of "bling" on the t-strap. Check out this pair of J LO sandals - Sequins and espadrille on a wedge make for one dramatic fashion statement. This may work out better with your dress. J Lo Mikayla at 6pm.com Don't worry, you still have time to find shoes.

A few of our "close" friends never RSVP or congratulated us before/after the wedding. We have been scratching our heads wondering if they think we are contagious.

Ditto!!! Bottom line was we gave everyone much advanced notice and we couldn't make guests come to our wedding if they didn't want to. Party was a blast with HAPPY & EXCITED GUESTS!!!
