Ilka Monforte is awesome. I used her. I'll be getting back my professional pics in 7-10 days and will post. she does make-up for tv.... she is expensive though. check out her web site. i have her private e mail and number if you are interested. she also charged a travel fee. her sister is local and she did our hair. she is cheaper. she does make up to. Even though expensive, she was beyond worth it. she stayed and touched up after ceremony for pics on beach and then again after that for reception. i needed it, it was so hot!!! Let me know if you have any questions. Also, I used del sol photogr and sol's sister does make-up. she recently moved to mexico. she did my make-up for ttd and was inexpensive

I guess we had a lot of storms while we were gone and when we returned sun night we found that lightening hit our house so we have had no phone or internet service- it's killing me. it hit our box outside. they are coming mon to fix, so hopefully i can get back and do review and.... thanks again for everone that helped me. you all are great!!! please let me know if i can help anyone. hi all, i didn't have my wedding at secrets but we went there for a addit 5 nights alone after our guests left and we loved it. staff are amazing!!! they are best i have seen. food is beyond great- even room service. we didn't do buffets though. italian was the best!!! lunch restr by pool was awesome. they even serve you by pool. a cart comes around with sushi.... you guys will have a amazing time. we stayed at 1500's (151- try to request that sec. they seem to upgrade all honeymooners there. we had swim out pool room on first floor. we didn't use it but it is nice... warm. we had no trouble with bugs but i heard guests on other side did they said they even provided bug spray in their room which they didn't for us. i read a review on here and she spoke of the rooms in regard to this and she was right on! good luck all

OMG HOLA I just spend 45 min typing min review and computer went down and i lost it!!! so quick version strawberry shortcake big hit/////awesome suggest arrive 2 days before guests to meet with reyna and do trials. i didnt get to see 4 night guests much. very hot night of wedding. very hunid with no breeze. if you dont care suggest guests wear shorts... reyna messed up a lot of small detail which at time i didnt let bother me or ruin my day ex/ silver bows not white. mexicn dishes not white... arch cover with 3 sets of flowers then with plastic green garland which i stressed and showed her pic of how i wanted covered with flowers and assured me and didnt. but truely you dont notice and on the day it doesn matter. ilka monforte did our make up and brought sister to do haie. they were fab!@!! I also had pleasure of sols sisiter from del sol photo to do makeup for ttd. water was rough and i wiped my eyes so much from salt water and my eyes never ran. she was great to work with. cant say enough about del sol. had vincent for wedding and matt fir ttd. had so many guests compl tham and we haven even seen photo.. sorry first time much better, but husband prob thinks im MIA will check this tomorrow if i can be of help. luv you guys at secrest maroma.. would really suggest staying over couple days after guests leave. you need it. the service.. food is awesome here.. never seen such friendly staff

OPINIONS PLEASE I have own nails, so polish don't stay as long. Do you think they would hold if I did mon before I left for wedding on Thurs?? Just something less I have to do there ped/manicure. If not, has anyone had done at spa?? Thanks

they orig told me that to. but had a meeting yesterday and del mar not opening. i didn't ask about beach. my ta upgraded us last week so we are staying at maya, but don't know where to have rec. reyna's e mail last night said steak house at beach but i know nothing about it. she said it is identical to tropical. sorry but at this point i trust nothing they say

stina, you look amazing. Well as of today we are back to tropical not being available for my reception and i leave sunday. After assuring me del mar will be open by then. i'm so glad it all worked out for you, but this past mth has been aweful for us. and they do nothing but tell me it' not then it is..."i will get back with you" and never do. no respponses from e mail, i have called days in a row before i get anyone. who wants to show up with 36 guests and not even know where anything is being held. this shoul be a exciting time not torture

i swell every year in mexico between heat and salt on drinks- so stay away from salt. I actually had to buy lasix down there/rx here. i'm a nurse- so you do have to watch you don't get dehydrated. also, most "water pills" deplete body of potassium so eat a bananna everyday you take them. Your dr would prob give you a low dose and pot pill if you go. if otc works for you great, didn't for me. again be careful, the comb of heat and etoh can easily dehydr you.

What is the proper way to list my fi mother who has passed in program? Do I list under paarents name or just put his dads name? I am doing fan program and do have poem on i fan in memory of her.
