  1. My FI and I started the program yesterday - love it! We got ours from Home Outfitters. Have fun!!
  2. Congratulations Monique! Happy Planning!!
  3. Hi Kaycee! How are things going? I hope it's going well for you!! Jennie
  4. Congrats Jacquie! I've set my date for Feb 10, 2010. I'm still trying to decide between the Dreams Tulum and the Ocean Turquesa. Was there a reason you chose DT over other resorts?
  5. Welcome & congratulations Kimmy! I'm newly engaged and have been going through the same resort analysis in the MR. I've been to the Barcelo & the Bahia Principe - both are great properties. I'm thinking I'm going to to choose the Ocean Turquesa & Coral or the Dreams Tulum. What I first did was figure out what I thought my guests would spend, I then looked up pricing for the mth I want to get married on selloffvacations.com and then I checked out the resorts in that price range and looked into their wedding packages. I hope that helps! Jennie

    2010

Congratulations Kate. I'm a February 2010 bride too! I haven't booked a resort yet but I'll be choosing one in the Mayan Riviera. Jennie
  7. My pleasure Kaycee. Please keep me updated as you receive different options from Ana if you have time. I'd love to hear all about it.
  8. If you're interested in the Mayan Riviera - I have stayed at the Bahia Principe & the Barcelo and both are very kid friendly, nice & clean. They're pretty big but you could easily stick to one area of either resort. I stood in a wedding at the Barcelo and it was amazing. I was seriously considering both but I think I've settled on the Ocean Turquesa. It's very beautiful and they have a great wedding package. It's also kid friendly. It's so hard to choose a resort isn't it? Good luck! Jennie
  9. You must be so excited!!! I just emailed you the pictures and a bit of other info that I had. Happy planning! J
  10. Hi Kaycee, That's so exciting!! Congratulations! How has the wedding coordinator been to work with? Are you getting married on the beach? Where are you having your reception? You probably have way more information than I do but I do have some pics from the wedding coordinator of different reception options if you want me to email them to you. I think that there could be fewer brides for this resort because they just renovated and rebranded themselves with a new name and stuff. I'm hoping that's why. I do have a friend that stayed there last March and she said it's a very beautiful spot and she had a great time. Please feel free to share anything and everything about your plans, I'd love to hear all about everything. Jennie
  11. Hi everyone! I'm booking my wedding at the Ocean Turquesa and was hoping people could offer feedback and/or that we could post anything and everything OT related. Thanks! Jennie
  12. Hi Gale, I'm in the same boat. We're looking in to the Mayan Riviera as well. I stood in a wedding at the Barcelo and it's a great resort. The ceremony & reception were both on the beach and it was absolutely beautiful. For myself, I'm considering the Ocean Turquesa, the Grand Sirenis, the Barcelo or the Bahia Principe. If anyone has any advice between my top four, I'd love to hear it. Jennie
