Congrats & Happy Planning!! A lot of brides get married at ROR in Jamaica but I'm an Mexico bride so I'm not sure why they choose it....just noticed that it's very popular. Hope that helps.

Personally, I feel weird mentioning gifts for a DW at all. The way I see it, people are spending hundreds of dollars on a DW anyway so I don't even want to think about them spending more on gifts. I'm sure most people will give gifts but I don't even really feel comfortable registering. Just my two cents.

Gorgeous! You must be so happy. I have a specific and random question for you....how tall are you? I'm asking because I love how you have your hair and you look like you're on the petite side....I'm only 5'1 and everyone is telling me I have to wear my hair up and back because of my height but I always wear my hair down. Anyway, I think you look great with your hair down so just thought I'd ask my weird question.

I didn't have the feeling and after trying on probably 60 dresses, I knew I wouldn't ever have it. I think some people can have the big feeling and some of us are too analytical. Every time I put on a dress I'd analyze every aspect of it and never just looked at it and loved it. I talked to a good friend about this and she said I was putting too much thought into it. She said that when she was looking for a dress she wanted something that made her tiny boobs look the best ever and her waste look small. She found a dress that did that and she was done. Her saying this to me really helped me take it all down a knotch. After searching for months, I'm finally ordering a dress that fits me like a glove, I feel amazing in (makes my bigger boobs look small! ), is within my budget and my FI will love. No tears, no huge moment, but it's the right one and I feel good about ordering it and moving on. The dress you picked is stunning and if you love it on yourself, I say get it. Trust me, you can torture yourself for months. Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm still having my wedding in the MR in February but like other brides, I'm waiting for the hype to settle down before booking. As for kid friendly resorts that are still fun for everyone else - I've stayed at the Barcelo and the Bahia Principe and both are very big with lots to do. Both also have a discotheque for those who want to go dancing.

Last night FI said 'I can't wait until you don't watch this show anymore'. He thinks I'll stop watching after our big day, as if.

I was feeling the exact same way. I just couldn't get motivated for the life of me. For some reason, I got motivated on Monday morning though. I've been up every day this week doing P90X (amazing workout) at 5:30am and I've also been eating really well all week. I think it's psychological but I feel way better already. If I were you, I'd start tomorrow - or even today - try not to put it off if you can (I did that for months - for what?). There are a few great threads on here if you didn't already know - biggest loser competitions, weight watchers and other weight loss & work out stuff. I wish you all the best. The hardest part is now. Once you start and get into it, you'll feel better, see results and you'll want to keep it up. And don't stress, you still have enough time. Jennie

I like the flowers beside the model in the picture for your dress. They look like light colored roses and hydrangeas maybe (not sure you can get those in the DR?). As Meagan said, I think something soft like Calla lillies would be gorgeous. Your dress is so elegant and classy - you need a flower that's timeless like the dress.
