Oh, lol- you are DEF not alone in this one! I have changed my theme, colors, bridal attire, centerpiece ideas...AND every time I see a cool idea on the forum, I want to add it on or change what I have planned. I'm totally indecisive and I feel like a crazy woman because I have scrap paper with millions of ideas ALL over the apt!! Don't worry- I think it's pretty normal...and our wedding dates are pretty close too- maybe it will change as we get closer?? I hope so, lol!

Oh man! That's crazy!! I just don't understand...it stinks to find out that you're not a top priority, but when you're replaced with a freakin' flat screen tv or remodeling, it REALLY stinks!! I'm so sorry Lisa. Gosh people are unbelievable! I'd lose my mind if I didn't have a place to vent...

What is it with people? I don't think you have to be a B2B to understand how rude and annoying that kind of behavior is...I would NEVER make huge purchases instead of going to a friend's wedding- and if I didn't want to go, I def wouldn't act like I'm trying so very hard to go and then rub granite countertops or family vacations in their face! I've decided that people are nuts!

So, I have to confess that I am beyond furious with my MOH. I really love her and she's a great girl, BUT she does things that just don't make any sense...for example she came into work (we work together) and told me that her parents have lost some of their hours at work and so she may not be able to come to the wedding since she will be providing a lot of financial support for them as she is still living at home. But every time I turn around, she's buying really expensive gifts for people that she doesn't really even like. She gives all of her aunts and uncles hundreds of dollars each month and doesn't even speak to most of them!! THEN I come in on Monday and she's booking flights for a vacation in August!! She's my MOH and doesn't have enough money to come to my wedding but can treat her family of FOUR to a two week vacation!?!? What makes it worse is that she acts like she's really trying to save up to go, but I'm just like "Hello! Instead of buying all 20 of your cousins Ipods and gadgets, why not put some money down, buy a flight and pay off your hotel balance?" I feel so frustrated!! Obviously I cannot tell her what to do with her own money, but then if you don't want to come or you aren't really interested, then why accept the position? Why act like you're trying to save money and come up with crazy excuses? I don't even know what to say because I feel like she won't even get it! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I feel like I'm going crazy!

- oh the other thing is that if you do want to use and outside vendor, most brides have gotten away with it by booking a room for the vendor, that way they will technically be considered a wedding guest. I don't know if that would work for a whole band though if you really didn't want to use MP's band.

Hey Jodimichelle! Congrats on signing your contract- now you can get busy with invites etc... Most of us who are hiring outside vendors are bringing in photographers...MP does have a mariachi band that they use and i've heard good things about them- also the the company that rents the sound system for receptions and ceremonies handles the lighting if you wanted to do more. I think there have been enough good reviews of the mariachi band and the lighting/DJ company to know that you'll prob have a good experience with them...hope that helps!

FI and I will be at our wedding resort for about one week and we'll leave the day after the wedding to go to another resort in the area that's couples only...Our honeymoon is actually my wedding gift to FI- he thinks that we're staying at the same hotel where we'll be married, so I'm pretty excited!! Let's see how long I can keep it secret, lol!
