I know you were asking Lisa, but I will say my shutterfly book was AMAZING! It was a big hit. I did it online with our engagment photos and left a few pages blank so people could sign them. It worked out great, was about $79 and that was for the big book (11*14) and it was a think cover. They come cheaper as well. I got it in like 2 days.

DJ: Mannia Cancun review
rabutler816 replied to Philly_Bride's topic in Riviera Maya and Cancun Wedding Vendors
Ok, well my review may not be too helpful as far as a specific DJ but DJ Mannia overall was great!!! He came over to Dreams (ok, i will be honest when I say we, I am not sure of exactly who it was) He told me , but I was in the middle of my meeting with Claudia and I was soo overwhelmed. Well he took a copy of my program for reception, asked if he coulkd use the Mic and facilitate the entire event and I said sure. He asked me to email the names of the bridal party so he could introduce thgem (i forgt.) oops..lol I was having too much fun down there. I didnt touch my computer. The day of, Due to rain, my reception was supposed to be 630-1030 and due to rain the wedding didnt start until 6:15 ISH, so of course after pics etc, I think we got into the reception at 730! DJ Mannia was there (it was actually like 3 of them) and they playd all the right songs for the entry, the dances, the bouquet and garter etc. He followed my program to a T and not only that he had confetti fall, balloons drop and everyone had a BALL with the balloons!! Also because it started late, Claudia and Mannia let us go to 11:30, and we had to go ask for them to stop playing he was ready to keep on playing. There was a time where we had a few favorite songs we wanted to heear and one of my guests was a DJ and he made a back up cd and the DJ played it with no problem, one song had waaay to much vulgar language but as soon as i queued him to change it he did. That was MY FAULT though.. I was straight from my cd. Greaaat experience!! Adrienne Dreams Cancun 8/16/09 -

I will only have 40-45 ppl total with the 60 invites but I guess I could wait until all the people RSVP next year to decide all that. because if less that 40 come then its no big deal to just keep it on there... this is true. you may want to know your count, but they definitely let you trade. i only got 10 ppl but hey thats actually like getting $600 since the reception over the 20ppl in the package is $about 58 per person with the tax and gratuity.........

I just feel like I still have a crap load to do! ahhhhhhh. lol. Yes the Lobby Bar is Rendezvous. I am excited as well. 1 year of planning and still LOADS of stuff to do. I know!! It will be fine without! :-) However, They only give you 10 more people without it. Quote: Originally Posted by cubsfan I think that you will be fine w/o the cocktail hour. I am skipping cocktail hour as well. During this time, you and your party will be taking pictures as well.

Thanks in advance! Hi. yes the lobby bar is probably the best "Rendezvous" I plan on squeezing all 75 of my guests in there Friday (14th) eve for our Meet and Greet. I heard it was what a lot of other brides did as well. I arrive the day of your wedding? is it at the gazebo. I can sneak and look at it out my window (from Tower) )))

Did any of you have a problem with people being loud or obnoxious who werent part of your group? If so, how did you handle it? If not, how would you recommend I handle it? Thanks! Hi!! I am the reason the hotel is sold out. Im sorry!! I also have 5 guests ho have to stay elsewhere. We have 50 rooms. I have 75+ guests for my wedding. I had no idea but I can assure you this. We will be very good and make sure your day does not go interrupted Brides honor! What time is your wedding? We are having a party in teh bar lobby from 7-10, so we will def be 'out the way' now for the other guests booked that have nothing to do with my wedding..ummm I cant say how well behaved they will be. I pray VERY WELL. Soo excited!!

Hi Ladies!! I have not been on in a long time!! Wow i leave in 20 days!!! I am soo excited. rain or Shine! Hopefully shine! Our count went from 40-75 and is still growing!! lol Anyways, here is the question of the century! I have some major drinkers and major 'rich folk' lol...Is there an option for top shelf liquor at all? i.e. Grey Goose, Don Julio Tequile, Patron tequila, Cognac, ANYTHING Top Shelf? Even if you are willing to pay for it? If there isnt...Where is the closes liquor store and are you even allowed to bring outside alcohol inside the resort?? I am sure we will run through abouttttt 10 fifths of Top Shelf tequila (yes they drink that heavy)..lol Thanks Adrienne 8/16
