Just wanted to weigh in on the food at PF a little bit. We did a site visit last December and the food factor probably was about 75% of our decision. We had almost decided on another location...but the food at our hotel during our site visit was so bad that once we did a tasting with Adam and Lindsay, we knew we had to go with PF. It was so good and we are food snobs for sure. I just can't imagine having people come so far for our wedding and then having a disappointing dinner. I actually so excited for our wedding week because I know we'll have fantastic food the whole time. Shreets - I believe you do have to book all 30 rooms for a full takeover, but definitely check with Adam. They may or may not have changed the terms since I signed our contract. PF is just a 5 minute cab ride from town. However, my understanding is that there are not restaurants or bars within walking distance.

I've been waiting until I had my final fitting to share my dress since I was making a few changes to it. It turned out fabulous and I love it! Here it is without the sash: The back (with sash): The front:

That is so exciting. I hope that everything works out for you!! It's definitely stressful trying to plan the wedding of your dreams without going crazy and totally scrapping your budget! Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to the forum. If you're thinking PV you should definitely check out Playa Fiesta. I might be a little biased, but I think it's the best. However, Dreams is also an amazing resort and Las Caletas is so unique. Happy Planning!

However, just keep reading this forum and you will find tons of options. That is how I found my wedding location!! Good luck and happy planning!

Congrats and welcome to the forum! I am also a PF bride. I started planning my wedding in January with PF. By June it was pretty much done! There were still a couple last minute details like doing OOT bags, dress fittings, etc. But as far as PF, I think they'll be able to accommodate you no problem! Congrats again!
