I love the aqua and lime green, even if you just go with aqua and brown that would be beautiful. I like orange more in combination with pink.

OMG I just booked Tamm's Photos!!!! It seems so much more real when you start booking and finalizing things even though the wedding is months away! I have seen nothing but good reviews, they said they just did weddings at Moon Palace in November and December, I really hope those brides post their pics!

For past brides: Did they give you a hard time about the 20% of guests staying off the property? I am beginning to get really nervous b/c I am already up to 11 people staying off the resort (including my dad!!!) and there are only about 23 on the resort!!! uh oh... I tried to get my TA to put a higher percentage in the contract but she said it doesn't matter b/c they usually don't give people a hard time. Is that true? I was so angry at my fi for picking a place that no one can afford... why is MP so expensive he assures me it is worth it and that everything will be wonderful. I hope he is right!

Hey everyone, For the people that have been there- what kinds of favors/gifts do they have in the gift shop/resort. The website mentioned they have "many different" types to choose from. Do you think there is anything there that is nice enough or is it all junk? Is it cheaper to get it here and bring it? What do you think?

I went shopping with my sister and mother to soooo many stores and drove them nuts! I chose my dress when I was with my mother's friend- a big glittery ball gown! I showed my mom but I did not even tell my sister I got it b/c I knew that she would not like it, and I had told her I was going to get this slinky mermaid one that we had seen at another boutique! She got so mad at me and called me shady and was so hurt. I still feel bad I just didn't want to tell her b/c I didn't want her to not like it! I know what you mean, you want everyone to love it and that is why I am having second thoughts! I really don't know what to do, I think you are screwed either way... lol! I love my dress but now when I am flipping through the magazines I always wonder if I should have gotten something else.... I agree with the photos though, the stores that let you do it anyway... seeing yourself in a picture really eliminates so many choices!

I believe the colored hupa is part of the package, in the magazine ads they show the emerald package and it shows the hupa decorated. I got the Sapphire package, I cannot wait til people start getting married that have the new packages! Ev and Mrs.Eddy's reviews were awesome and leave me wanting MORE MORE MORE!!!!!

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone ever brought your own minister/priest from home or if everyone just used the justice of the peace that the resorts provide?

For the people who have been there, do they have a good selection of gifts in the gift shop? The website says it has possible favors, what kind did they have? was it cheap junk or nice? could I get my bridesmaid jewelry from there or should I get it here?

Wow your reviews is awesome! I showed my FI and he even thought it was beautiful. Your review is going to be so helpful to those of us getting married this year. If you get unlimited private functions do you still have to pay the $400 a table for the reception or is the reception free?

Everything looks so beautiful! I love your flowers, and the ceremony was beautiful. I am a bit concerned about the mosquitoes!!! were they really that bad? We are thinking about having an outdoor reception... we are getting married in August though is it just the time of year? Congrats and thanks for writing!

did anyone get a pricelist from the decor company? (Decocancun or Zuniga) I asked my travel agent to find out but she is having a hard time getting it from them b/c my wedding is so far away. I would love to know how much the light up dance floor is! I saw it in one of the reviews of a wedding that was at Dreams cancun. It had a light up dance floor on the beach and lights underneath each table, it looked awesome!
