Thank you so much for your replies! it sounds like most of you went through a travel agent. Does the travel agent make all the arrangements for an all inclusive resort, including wedding details? I mean suggesting on certain resorts that might be better for weddings? How did you find your TA's? I always hoped for a very intimate wedding with only my closest and dearest. But my Fiancé however, has a looonnng list of people he'd like to invite. I don’t want to break anyone's piggy bank, but at the same time I don’t want to choose a lesser option because of it. I think staying within in the low $1,000 would be ideal and is reasonable right? From your experience, did you receive better rates through an agent or doing it yourself through the resort? Vegas weddings are always so much fun! I've been to a few the last couple of years. Either one of those dresses will be great for partying in Sin City after your wedding! I love that you aren't doing a traditional look at all! I really like them both, but I think the second one is a bit more formal, so that might be more appropriate for the wedding! Congrats and look foward to seeing pictures!

I hadn't considered the distance from LA to DR, or even to PDC. Anyone else from LA or California? I guess what makes the decision a bit harder is the fact I haven't been to any of the locations before. SMF47 is right the pictures of the beaches in DR look breathtaking! (But then again...so do Belize and PDC!!!) AHHH!!! It’s so hard to decide! LOL I guess maybe I should narrow it down to least complicated travels huh? :/ Thanks again for your replies!

Hello Everyone! My name is Liza and I just got engaged over Labor Day Weekend. I feel completely lost! I have no idea where to even begin!!! All I do know is...we both want a destination wedding in late 09 or early 2010. We are considering Dominican Republic, Playa Del Carmen, or Belize! Any suggestions from you guys on any of these destinations are much appreciated! (from what I've read so far...I'm really liking DR) Glad to be here and looking forward to chatting with everyone!
